Your channel is an inspiration. My newly acquired S2A is very tired and needs a lot. Every time I start to address something, I find more items that need attention. I am trying to stay organized and not feel frustrated or overwhelmed. Keeping a list is imperative. Years ago I restored a Jaguar XJ6, and I remember the day I crossed the last item off my list and declared the car finished. What a feeling! You obviously have loads of experience on Landy Rovers, and viewers of your channel benefit from your videos. Much thanks.👌👍

I know the feeling and try to convey the struggle and ecstasy of these rebuilds. Thanks for these comments they inspire me to keep going too, thank you very much.

Great update on the 90 I had almost forgotten about it. Must be nice to keep things varied and satisfying to cross all those things off. Well done!

I wish I could forget about it too 😂. I’d honestly rather be busy with just one at a time but I just can’t resist getting this one done.

Great video. Where are you sourcing your parts from ? Currently in Pretoria and starting to work on my 1998 defender station wagon

I have been using LP4A in Midrand, they have most stuff. Also used LR Service in Cape Town and imported some smaller bits from Craddock in UK. Thanks for watching and good luck with yours.

Top job. Good to see your young bloke learning the ropes so he can carry on loving Landies for many years to come as you are doing. 👍🏻🙏🦘

I’m trying to involve him as much as possible but teenage attention is a challenge. Hopefully some of it sinks in and a little spark is ignited. Thanks as always for watching and commenting

I need to do exactly this with my red tdi 90.did you bring in the parts directly or buy them locally in sa?
@TheOverlandLegend9 ай бұрын
I did a bit of both, but most of it is actually available locally. There is a lot of Defender rebuilding for export going on so I think the local availability is quite good. Even LR agents have stuff if you are will to pay through your eye balls. Also sourced some secondhand bits.
