Dear Rich, This looks like the Defender with the Ford Engine (2.2)This engine has some problems and since you got a nice low mileage version you might be able to avoid future problems .www.youtube.com/@6DDIESELSDorset has a video on the problems which might be helpful Regards Greg

@@ItsAdventure The problems involve the self destruction of the whole engine ! managed to locate the reference kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXOZqoCZnZdmrq8 Nothing like the good old Series 2A I started on! 6D diesel strike me as rather knowledgeable Greg
