This unit has been issued to supertesters for quite some time and today, February 22, all tankers have the opportunity to get it in their hangar. Of course, you should get to know the newcomer better, but before moving on to what the Object 252U performance characteristics are, it’s worth mentioning that the car was released in two forms.
There are two tanks available in premium stores: Object 252U and Defender. In fact, these are two cars that are absolutely identical in their characteristics, each of which has a premium status. The only difference is that the “Defender” received a unique stylized camouflage, which, I must say, is quite beautiful and worked out very carefully. Here you have a button accordion with a machine gun on the back of the turret, and USSR symbols on the side, and a pathetic inscription on the muzzle - “The enemy will not pass” (you can see images of tanks above).
From the very beginning, it should be said that this device has a standard safety margin by the standards of most TT-8s, and at the same time it was endowed with a very weak basic viewing radius of 350 meters.
The truly remarkable aspect of this heavy weight can rightfully be considered survivability, since the Object 252U’s armor characteristics are truly worthy of respect. Let's start with the fact that our turret has a very flattened and at the same time very regular shape, with various bevels, so that in the frontal projection its given armor values vary from 250 to 340 and even 500 millimeters of armor, depending on where the enemy projectile will enter . But it’s worth remembering about the two hatches on the roof of the tower; even level seven vehicles can penetrate us here.
The frontal projection of the body is no less interesting. I’ll say right away that in the NLD the heavy tank Object 252U is rather weakly armored, the reduction here does not exceed 202 millimeters, that is, classmates will be able to penetrate.
But just look at the VLD with its pike-like nose and the incredible angle at which it is located. Despite the stated thickness of 130 millimeters, these two inclined plates of the Object 252U WoT reach 270-350 millimeters, that is, it will be extremely difficult for us to penetrate here.
If we talk about the sides of the vehicle, they also have rational bevels, that is, by setting up a rhombus, the Object 252U tank will be able to catch ricochets.
The driving characteristics of our Soviet newcomer are also not bad; in mobility it is similar to its fellow nationals IS-6 and IS-3. This means that the Object 252U Defender of World of Tanks has a good maximum speed for a heavy vehicle, tolerable dynamics, and in our case the situation with maneuverability is quite decent.
The Object 252U Defender gun has even more powerful one-time damage than other Soviet weapons, which is already worthy of respect. True, the gun’s rate of fire is lame, but this does not prevent us from achieving a DPM of about 1760 units of damage, which can also be considered quite decent.
The surprises do not end with the penetration parameters, since a 225 mm armor-piercing projectile for premium vehicles is a very good result. At the moment, the Object 252U tank will be able to farm perfectly and will penetrate even tenth levels. But for head-on collisions with high-level equipment, it still doesn’t hurt to carry 20-30% gold ammunition.

В башню справа и слева от центра хорошо пробивается. Танк медленный косой долго сводится. В люки пробивается только так. Еще слепой до ужаса

Я думал только меня иногда такие лаги накрывают, оказывается нет. А что разрабы говорят, они собираются как то это дело исправлять или для них это нормально когда сервера лагать начинают, это всё игровой процесс? Разрабы озабочены одним клепать каждый месяц патчи пусть кривые, лагающие, но главное наклепать. Лучше бы раз в полгода 1 обнову делали, но за то она была бы полностью исправна, а не этот бред, патч прикрутят потом микропатчи ставят каждые 3 часа исправляя кривизну своих ручек
