Defender Steering Guard Installation

I installed a steering guard on my Defender to protect my steering linkages from damage during off-roading. A steering guard reduces the risk of damage to the Pitman arm, Drag link and steering damper, which are located at the front of the vehicle in harms way.

Tidy installation ... I've also got the axle guard on mine which covers nearly the entire rear (now heavy duty) bar after bending a standard one many years ago on a branch of all things! Must add one of these plates to mine asap!

Splootan neither. Nobody is going to wear $500 RM Williams to work on a truck, plus they are not comfortable boots to work in.

I doubt it. I'm sure someone out there would make one. Britpart. Bearmach. Try the Land Rover magazines from the UK. Bound to be a supplier in the ads.

Where did you get those lifting points that you have added to the front? (Seen at 1:42 on right of recovery hooks).
