i've been absolutely obsessed with this game for months that i'm only just now firing my FM save back up. i'm waiting on a sale so i can pick up the early access to play past the 2nd boss. so super stoked to have the streams cross and get an aavak-play of this! your speculation about bracketing the frog with the princess and the witch is correct. part of it is the help doesn't express it well enough that the bonus procs every time the princess converts the frog to a knight. i still haven't found a satisfactory build with the bees.

I'm betting the towers built thing is because of the princess. None of Sebastian's levelups were shown either. So only the manual cat level ups were shown in that screen.

I think on the first round if you had gone champion instead for some early power on a hydra you could've done better cause sure they can scale but you were at level two you needed a champion to soften the waves if not stop them

Yeah, pretty sure its better to keep the money, instead of rerolling when you cant buy anymore that you want, just to buff the Dice Tower. Cause that way, next turn,you can spend that money, and have both the chance for something worthwhile, and the buff on the Dice Tower.

I too mainly enjoy aavak’s take on these over most of the actual such games. Now, if there are a number of different builds and a reasonable randomness component, that helps.

@@michaelray3865 there's a surprising number of builds - and even how to execute each build - that belies the simplistic, cutesy graphics (which is improved over the demo). you're still at the mercy of RNGesus but the number and amount of synergy is interesting to fiddle with and games are quick enough that you don't feel like there's a bad time sink.
