I talk about that later on in the video, but it's pretty much a waste of money despite it looking good. So we know the cat doubles in stats each time it levels up - or at least I realize that eventually. Each Milk bought is worth 3 Cats or 15 XP on the Cat tower. So after buying milk 50 times, I lost 250 XP on the Cat - not exactly cause it doesn't consider rerolling, but let's keep it simple. 250 XP is worth at least 1 level up - and that level up would mean the Milk gives twice the amount of stats, or in other words the milk bought on the last level of the Cat now has double the cost - so 6 Gold - as it gives half the values we could currently get. Another way to look at the insane difference is extreme exaggeration. Let's say we buy only Milk Potions and never level up the Cat - and we buy 10000 Milk Potions. That's 20000 in Dmg/HP (ignoring the Cat Token). That's a cost of 30000 Gold. That amount could buy 30000 Cats, but let's just say per roll I get only 1 Cat, so 2 Gold per Cat or 15000 Cats or 75000 XP. That amount of XP would get the Cat to level 387 or 2^387 in stat bonuses per milk. Or in other words it would be 315216049571155833698232320801148910440637914163723573343586347233965774171977684891314130039079325126453023922454528 in Damage/HP per single milk used. We don't need to know what number that is, but compared to the 20k in DMG/HP it's obviously way bigger. There will be a tipping point where buying milk is mandatory to survive, but the moment that happens the game is very soon to end because no more growth happens and the boss outscales too fast. Mechanic changes when you have the perk, that towers can only appear once in each shop. That way if you have 3 tower selection you have one common, one rare, and one legendary. If you have more than 3 selection choices, the rest is made up out of cursed towers. Thats a really good way to get your cursed towers maxed if you have say, 6 towers and some nullification.

The ancient tower converts "normal" towers into ancient versions, without rolling them. If you use the ancient tower when you have only common towers in the store, you will only get tower of ruins

Or (what is more likely in my opinion) its something with the variables that they used while coding the game or some bitflip prevention or something, so like "surely nobody will notice because nobody will try to break it so bad" They just didnt know about the existence of the allmighty DEXTROYER of games XD

The .4 is because of how floating pointer values are represented, they're higher precision for numbers closer to 0, and less precise the further away you get, so at some point after doubling a certain number of times the floating point will not be able to represent integer values.

Dex is pulling a DF and not reading very simple stuff. Shocking for him. I don't know why he didn't just read the dang tower and see that it automatically turns common towers into Tower Ruins and only Rare towers into Forgotten Towers. So... I think what was throwing off your calculations on how much the coffee tower should have been growing was you were focused on the Level 1 tower, which doubled the temporary gains, but at the 28:49 mark, the tower was at level 22, which was multiplying temporary buffs by 23, not 2. ---- As to why the coffee tower kept resetting to 6 quintillion, must be some bug. I've got no other answer for it. ---- You don't know what the numbers beyond Decillion are? Having played enough Cookie Clicker and other "make numbers big" games, UDc is Undecillion (10^36), DDc is Duodecillion (10^39). You eventually got to TDc which is Tredecillion (10^42). It looks like the game switches over to E notation instead of going on to QaDc, which is Quattuordecillion (10^45) based on what the enemy was showing. Would love to see you do the version of this run with your max debt tower strategy to see how far you can go.

I think the reason the coffee tower stopped getting buffed is it only counted the milk during the round, as opposed to at the start of the fight. That's my theory anyway...

just so you know a basic click takes 100ms which is 10th of a second, if you instead do left button down 10ms delay and left button up that would be 10x faster clicks.

The hourglass might have been better for the coffee as it multiplied temp stats so if the hourglass effect happens last then it would multiply it by 1.5 which 30 percent would become permanent stats if I understand the memory token correctly

I don't think the hourglass wins over anything that helps out the Cat, simply because 1 level of cat is worth x2 the amount of level on Coffee

For future runs, you just need 2 princesses next to eachother, they level eachother and the towers on the side you wanna level

The point of the 3 princesses is that the 2 outside princesses level up the one in the middle faster, which then in return gives more XP to the princesses around them. But there isn't really a better or worse strictly speaking, it mostly depends on what the intent of the princesses is

at some point i was playing around with the trickster tower and i found once you made it get used then you delete it once it gets used on the tower you are using then delete the trickster tower for something ells you want :P the anoyance does not go away from the tower it got used on.... and yes i copy and pasted this as im just trying to get people know about it :P
