I watched many of your videos and I have never seen a clan forced to work THIS HARD to even get into your compound. :D I know you dominate the clans but I doubt a zerg ever felt THIS HELPLESS against a solo. Most of us take for granted just how impressive your raid defense are because of how often you pull them off. What others also fail to realize due to never having raided you personally is just how difficult you are to kill. Between constantly relocating and abusing sharp angles you effortlessly control every engagement even when outnumbered 20:1. I'm genuinely impressed at how high you've pushed the skill ceiling in Rust.

every single time you change up the strategy it just gets better, never have I seen a solo defend so well that you barely even died at all against an 8 man. The moving China wall may take resources to fund but this execution of the concept proves it is super effective. When the zergs cannot enter the compound to wreak havoc because the barrier keeps moving around it becomes the swiss army knife of defenses.

The raiders had to know it was AIT. They brought significantly more boom than a normal smaller group would bring for that base. They knew they’d have to keep breaking all his walls over and over.

@@Dinosaurdad88 I have no idea what you’re referring to. That raid base is a very common raid base. It’s based on Susu’s raid base. That’s why you always see it. He also plays on Tesla, Tacculars and a few other content creators servers. He also loses quite often. The ones that are smart enough to raid his externals win. The ones that do this lose. I’ve defended raids just like this all the time. And they certainly weren’t my friends. It’s a really interesting take though. A take with no evidence to back it up though.

Lol I used to build walls that way exclusively a long time ago. I can't remember what my reasoning was, this was before upkeep so maybe cost, but I remember my bases always looked glorious. One wipe my neighbors dubbed it the Al-Qaida training center which I was quite proud of.

Damn, GG bro, every time I watch you getting raided, it's pretty clear right from the start how it's gonna go. They did much better than I anticipated from the start, but I could tell right away that you were too quick for these kids. The speed at which you decide on a defense, can build, and attack and move positions is just more than most big groups can handle. If a group is smaller than 12-15, it's likely that they're gonna have a REALLY hard time overcoming defenders advantage. Hell, clans could HIRE YOU as a team building exercise! If they can successfully raid a base you are vehemently defending, they have proven that they can function as a team. Because even if a clan is 20-30, if they don't _work together,_ *as a team,* with effective comms and proper coordination.. then they don't really stand a chance, as it effectively turns into 20-30x 1v1's.

You see it in Escape from Tarkov all the time, fast moving solo players decimating a whole 5 stack because their comms are shit, convoluted or slow. :) Same thing applies to Rust but even more compounded because in Rust 5 is a small group. Imagine trying to coherently and rapidly explain to your other teammates where tokyo is lol. By the time anyone gets a word in Tokyo has moved and is doing something else completely.

Most clans lack discipline and a proper raiding strategy and if we watch closely thats exactly what AIT exploits. He is a skilled builder and a pro player, no doubt, but what makes him the greatest solo is his ability to break the raider's spirit. He is constantly changing his location, killing and upgrading in the most unpredictable pattern. By the time someone calls out his location over the clan discord he is most probably out of there.

Now I'm not going to lie, bought rust as soon as it was available(what, 5 years ago, maybe more?) and got bored quickly. New PC build and spotted it in my library and thought I'd hop right back in.. straight back into the kiddie game and straight back into a warm up to ease me back into my comfort zone, being the seasoned survival FPSer I am.......... Jesus Christ how wrong I was. After a 2 day marathon of nothing but good luck, a gang of people no older than 15 years old blew my small base up and slaved me into trafficking sulfer and AND I spent 4 hours actually doing it?!?(I'm 43 years old and only stopped because I had work). This raid defense was mind blowing to me mate.
