This past summer, I started making concealment furniture. I had never done woodworking before, but I followed the steps in a KZbin video. It was fun effective. I started getting creative, and I now have several concealment locations all through my house. I have fewer guns in my safes than I have hidden strategically around my house.

A lot of us survived childhood somehow without all of these boxes. Dad just let us handle the firearms any time we wanted too, and taught us how and what they do. Since I had a .22 rifle of my own when I was 8 years old, it was pretty easy not to shoot myself or anyone else with a firearm. There was no special mystery or fascination about guns they were just a normal part of the house. Any child that can reach the top shelf is old enough to be taught how to use the tool safely.

I saw a safe box that has a usb port in case the batteries die, although not practical in an emergency, I think it is a cool feature. I would like a stop box for an SBR, I’m not sure if they make them that big though.

NOPE.... Kirby is the best... Have been for a very long time. Nobody talks about them because of the price. But I'll tell you this, my mother still has the Kirby she got in the 60's before I was born and she uses it every week, she actually has 2, one upstairs, one downstairs. I just recently got one and will never buy another brand.

Guns in a portable box have ALWAYS been incredibly stupid to me! Haha 😂 my little girl has had guns around her and in front of her, her whole life. As Mikes kids have, in my experience a staged weapon is a safe and ready weapon. There’s basically a loaded weapon in every room, safely out up away from company and kids but easily available if needed.
