This is not fighting or a competition. It's a cooperative exercise where one person feeds the other and the person doing the assigned drill gets to practice it. Over time the feeder can use more force and speed. Every martial art does has similar exercises. In BJJ you might practice how some pass someone's guard. They have to lie on the ground and you agree to certain parameters. If you're a beginner, you're going to move slowly. Your partner has to move slowly as well and not spas out or else you'll never be able to catch the feeling.
@brucekai74627 ай бұрын
@@clacicle Bullshit. in BJJ I participate by laying on the ground but if the technique doesn't work I'm not going to be moved, submitted or cooperate by rolling around... here they are both standing facing each other pushing hands or whatever nonsense that is... being thrown to the ground and flung around like a toy is him cooperating in the bullshit. That doesn't exist in reality... it's basic science. If you cooperate or believe in this nonsense you are part of the cult. There is a reason why this guy would NEVER try this on anyone credible. It's always vegan looking feeble characters that are desperate to think that magic like this actually exists. The MINUTE he can do this on someone credible, Tai Chi as we know it changes, his life changes and science does too. But it won't. It's bullshit at its finest.

What he was talking about and describing is VERY scientific, and follows physics. There's nothing mystical about it. In totally simple layman's terms, and this is VERY simplified, he has conditioned his mental and physical ability to read someone's body language and posture to a large extent by being totally relaxed. You can see how he absorbs the other guy's body language and uses it against him.

When done well, it isn't. It isn't the same as a little "pull" which is what this guy is doing. It is quick, like plucking a string or picking a cherry, and can have a whiplash effect on the partner.
