Unfortunately he evaded the question on long range weapons. I just wish they had been a little clearer on that aspect, however for military strategic purposes, I can understand them not wanting to elaborate. They're not scared. They aren't directly in the fight. However the consequences of any decision could have further exacerbatory effects, that UKR might not yet be in a position to manage. Also capturing of the US long range technology might also be deemed too risky at this point in the conflict and could adversely impact US readiness to handle future broader conflicts. It's a balancing act. Perfectly reasonable, as long as they can help Ukraine with alternatives such as improving their own domestic long range capability.

My feet is crumbling, the US have launched huge operations from time to time, in countries, where everybody could see that democrasy did`nt stand a chance. Here we got Ukraine, with a population that in the Maidan days stood up against autotarianism, pressed on for free elections and rejected russian influense. With the russian invasion already in 2014 and a full blown in 2022, president Biden gave hope in his speeches around europe, that finanally we could stand together and bring russia down. Here we are 2,5 year after the full blown invasion, the US agenda is controlled by Sullivan in the white house, a man with good educations, studies of russia (based on what it was for many-many years ago), today is russia nothing else but a mafia state, with influense all over the world. As a european and a Danish citicenz, who have traveled in long life in the eastern countries, a few times in russia, I am deeply ashame because of the lack of commitment the US is making. I certainly hope the new government after the election, will go wholeheartedly into supporting Ukraine with all they got, if not, we got to talk about a new Nato in 2 lanes, we in europe cannot trust the US anymore.
