@ Facts! indo Jamaican is what they are. If they were in Trinidad they’d be indo Trini. If they were in Guyana they’d be indo Guyanese. Either way, their ethnicity is Indian and their nationality is Jamaican if they were born in Jamaica. If they were born in their homeland they’d be ethnically, nationality, and culturally Indian.

Being black America vs Jamaica are two different experiences. In Jamaica, its a predominantly black country, so your identity is more transparent, because you see people who look like you from all walks of life: the Prime Minister is black, nurses, doctors, most CEO's, teachers, lawyers are all black. Unlike America, you are a minority and I think its something a lot of black African Americans struggle with unlike black immigrants because they have not had the experience to grow in an environment where their race is the dominant class.

Candace Owens did a series about Kamala and her family which is more detailed. Kamala identified as Indian probably because she was closer to her mother than her father and didn't identify as black until she ran for president, its not how others identified Kamala it's how she identified herself and changed suddently ...understand? It is said her father isnt in touch with het and doesn't talk to her that's probably why he wasn't available for the interview,in case anyone watching is wondering. Candace Owens covered quite a bit of kamalas history and the picture of her sitting on the older ladies lap isn't her grandmother its the employee of the family. Her grandmother died before she was born. Why would she say it was her grandmother is something to ask Kamala but we can only guess it has something to do with protraying herself to be black. Maybe her father is upset about het dishonesty?

Why is there such an effort to position Kamala Harris as ADOS when her family lineage is clearly Indian? I initially thought she might have some white ancestry, but from what we know, her roots are Indian and Jamaican. Yet, Kamala refers to herself as African American, implying a connection to the ADOS experience that isn’t accurate. You’re conflating skin color with lineage, and those are not the same. If you tried interviewing Kamala’s father or her aunts on her mother’s side, would they say she’s Black in the ADOS sense? This feels like an attempt to rewrite history, as if we’re living in 1984-where we’re told to ignore what we know to be true and accept the constructed narrative instead. Stop the gaslighting. Referencing her skin color alone and labeling her “Black” overlooks the unique construct and lived experience of Black Americans, particularly ADOS. Her background deserves respect, but it’s not the same as that of African American Descendants of Slavery.

I’m sorry, but nowhere in this report does the reporter identify any of Kamala Harris’ ancestors as coming from Africa. You can identify as black, you can celebrate blackness, you can “act” black, you can even look “black, but it doesn’t mean you have DNA from the motherland, Africa. This report fails to address the specific question of Kamala’s genetic roots. No wonder there is doubt. I wish I could say this report clears up the controversy, but it doesn’t. Kamala can be a proud brown woman of beautifully diverse heritage, but claiming she is black because her father is Jamaican, is a stretch. I’d wager that she is about 25% Irish, and ~75% Indian. She grew up in Oakland and has Jamaican roots, so culturally she is “black”, though some black Americans might also take issue with that statement. Anyway, just my two cents since I’ve been curious about this controversy and have been trying to find hard evidence supporting her claim. Gotta say, I think Kamala has just been playing identity politics this whole time. 🤔

Thank you for stating your Critical Analysis. I'm so amazed at all the "reaching" going on in this video and comments. Like folks dont know the Distinctions between Race, Ethnicity and Nationality ! I dont even consider her "culturally black" either....all "performativity" and co-optation of an identity for Political career purposes.

Thank you for producing and publishing this heartwarming and truly humanitarian video about the Kamala Harris Jamaican and Indian family roots. It brought tears of joy to my heart and eyes. It proves that love, unity, and ethnic diversity are the World .... the most endearing aspects of humanity in this world. I pray that Kamal Harris as the vice president and/or president of the United States of America will be the catalyst for reuniting humanity as an Earth species of Love and Oneness for the wellbeing of all living beings of our beautiful Earth.

This is a stark contrast to all the FBA she locked up when she was the attorney general.

She lost big time because she mocked GOD- our Lord and Saviour JESUS CHRIST. Everyone cannot forget that rally of her when she mocked and insulted those 2 college CHRISTian students in her Wisconsin rally. Kamala cannot mock GOD!

I always remember coming home from school as a kid in New zealand and Bob Marley was on the tv singing one love. That's Jamaica. I went there. Its not all about race there at all. Just lovely accepting people like Kamala.

She's an American with a Jamaican father and indian mother. From the report that I saw, her father is from an biracial family on his paternal side and black on his maternal side.

@@HatstandEvents… Kamala Harris’ mum is from the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. There is a ton of information about Kamala and her mother … all you have to do is Google ‘Kamala Harris’. From your comment, it appears that you are a trump follower, so your derogatory comments already show your attitude, so why are you even bothering to comment on this video?
