Well, not really "full stealth" lol, but I get the point. It's nice to see so many countries/allies are buying/using this plane so the price dropped significantly and it's been tested & improved a lot. The f22 & f35 are such technological masterpieces, see the difference with ww2 warplanes & this, it's a world of difference. Humanity has been technologically helped/inspired by extraterrestrial intelligence, it's no coincidence there's been so much development just in the last 100 year :)

Good video. The F-35 is getting a new, upgraded higher-performance engine as well. The AARGM-ER is a game-changer. The real weapon that makes these jets unstoppable is their increasing numbers combined with seamless interoperability. Pilots from the UK, Japan, USA, Italy, Canada, the Netherlands and other allied nations will be able to operate together, share information such as targeting and threats, and have total awareness of the battle space.

@@martianxmanhunter A major problem with you argument is that Putin vigorously denied that he ordered Spetznaz into Crimea and continued to deny it for months, coming up with one ridiculous story after another trying to pretend that he hadn't in fact ordered Spetznaz into Crimea. Then after months of denials, he actually admitted that he had in fact ordered Spetznaz into Crimea, making all his previous denials pure BS. Putin had a reason for his denials. He knew that the moment Spetznaz crossed into Crimea, Russia was in violation of the Budapest Memorandum which Russia signed agreeing that Russia would NEVER violate Ukraine's borders. @@IndoriGaurav it's all relative. Compared to India they are. Compared to most NATO countries they are still using sixties and seventies technology next to a handful of nineties technology aircraft. J-20 only has head on stealth and the missiles are barely manoeuvrable, that means they can only take on AWACS and tanker aircraft. The Meteor, AIM-120 and AIM-260 actually do manoeuvre. There are a lot of other missiles and bombs too that make the F-35 so powerful. Not only new stuff, but stuff released recently, like the CHAMP cruise missile, AGM-158 JASSM XR cruise missile, or the GBU-53/B StormBreaker small diameter glide bomb. But also newer hypersonic weapons like the AIM-260 and Hypersonic Air-breathing Weapon Concept (HAWC) cruise missile. All the cruise missiles are too big to fit inside the F-35 weapon bays, but they can fit externally and they all have ranges of 1000-1750 miles. The Stormbreaker fits in place of 2 AIM-120, 260, or 1000 pound JDM. These new AIM-260 missiles are about 1-1.5" wider, but have much smaller fins and the fins in the back fold. They are smaller around than the 1000 pound JDAMS too. The other thing is I think they are making this a multi-role missile... so it can be fired from air, ground, or sea at any air, ground or sea target (and possibly radar). So it might have a timed fuse and duel warhead like the GBU-53/B has as well as multiple tracking and guidance capabilities. With a speed of Mach 5 and a range of 200km this is a HUGE upgrade for the AIM-120... and if it is a multi-role missile they will be ordering possibly over 100,000 of them. This would improve defenses on carriers and missile cruisers and make, improve fixed and mobile launchers, and improve F-15, 16, 18, 22, and 35 fighter jets. I get mixed information, but it sounds like the F-35 A and C can fit 5 in each bay (or 4 and 1-2 AIM-9). If they put a 2000 pound JDAM in there they can only fit 1 AIM120 or 260 or 1-2 AIM-9. I say 1-2 AIM-9 as I saw a drawing showing the weapon mount for the AIM-9 holding 1 in some configurations or 2 in others. The B version I am unsure about as it can only carry a 1000 pound JDAM. It might be it can only carry 2 AIM-120 and 1 AIM--9, which is a bit disappointing if true, but would still be FAR better than a Harrier or Apache for weapons, speed, stealth, range...That said an F-35. I saw a diagram of the F-35C with 8 AIM-120 and 4 AIM-9... or 2 AIM-120 and 2 2000 pound JDAMS... or 2 AIM-120 and 16 250 JDAMS (possibly the same number of Stormbreakers)... or 2 AIM-9, 4 AIM-120, and 4 1000 pound JDAMS internally. The external mounts can carry 5000, 2000, and 300 on each wing. So technically it should be able to fit 2 AIM-9 plus 4 cruise missiles externally (as they are only 1000 pounds each)... or 8 AIM-120, or 4 2000 pound JDAMS, or 8 1000 pound JDAMS... or 24 250 pound JDAMS... or 16 GBU-53/B externally. This makes the F-35 a beast. Add in the ability to link fire control and radar systems with other jets and radar systems as well as advanced sensors, 360 degree IR vision, electronic warfare built in, and advanced stealth FAR better than the J-20 and Su-57. We still need a replacement for the AIM-9 too.

@John Smith Germany hasn't signed the Budapest Memorandum. Ukraine is not a member of NATO. Biden has repeatedly stated Ukraine is not a member of NATO. For Ukraine's Budapest Memorandum context, Russia, the US and the UK confirmed their Ukraine becoming parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and effectively abandoning their nuclear arsenal to Russia and that they would: 1. Respect Ukrainian independence and sovereignty in the existing borders. 2. Refrain from the threat or the use of force against Ukraine. 3. Refrain from using economic pressure on Ukraine to influence their politics. 4. Seek immediate Security Council action to provide assistance to Ukraine if they "should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used". 5. Refrain from the use of nuclear arms against Ukraine. 6. Consult with one another if questions arise regarding those commitments. China and France gave somewhat weaker individual assurances in separate documents. US and UK are fulfilling points 4 and 6 in accordance with Ukraine's Budapest Memorandum. Budapest Memorandum's security assurances are weaker than NATO's Article V and EU's Article 42.7.

Comparing the still in development American AIM-260 JATM with the Chinese PL-15 would be like comparing an American F-22 to a Chinese J-10C, absolutely unrelatable. The AIM-260 JATM is not from the same class/generation of missiles as the PL-15 and are built for a completely different roles, they are a new generation of bigger and bulkier missile with higher speeds/distance (usually above mach 5) intended to be operated on medium and heavy fighter platforms while the PL-15 is a smaller and and older missile capable of operating on even the smallest delivery platforms (ex. J-17) . A better or even fair comparison would be the new Chinese PL-21(ARG) Ultra long range BVR missiles, which serve a very similar role as it's American counterpart and which is entering its early test stage seen on various platforms(J-16s, J-31, J-20), even the older soviet R-37s would be a better comparison than the PL-15. The PL-15 belongs to a slightly older class of missiles along with the American AIM-120D and Russian R-77s, completely separated from other missile classes and operational uses.

Despite excellent public relations and better publicity damage control. The news keeps leaking out the the CTOL versions of the F-35 are a real disappointment to the Navy and the Airforce. Photos of F-35 fighters doing air operations on a CVN at sea. Hides the fact, that only one has been modified to safely operate the F-35. The F-14 was retired as it's operational costs were greater than the F-18. Well the F-35 operating costs make the F-14 a bargain. These are great weapons that can be used by any effective military aircraft. But it's unlikely that they will solve the problems of F-35.

So the longer you fly it, the more detectable it gets. 3. The engine can run hot enough to melt parts of the airframe. 4. Excessive operating costs greater than 30,000 dollars/hr 5. 4:28 The AIM 260 - Right, let's talk about that. The AMRAAM 120-D is the current medium range US bvr air-to-air missile, which is currently outclassed by a number of foreign missiles available to other Air Forces. For example, European NATO Air Forces have access (except not F-35s!) to the formidable BVRAAM Meteor! This missile outclasses AIM 120-D in almost ALL counters, and that includes all other missiles currently in this class. This is beyond dispute. Now, you claim the US is about to field the new batch of missiles that have been reported on KZbin for some time. Currently, however, there is VERY little indication of much progress towards finality in ANY of these projects. "Currently undergoing testing" - we all know that phrase hides any number of meanings, and history tells us that these programmes are actually merely in the beginning phase of their development. Extrapolate that in the real world and we get - a vague possibility that we might actually see a prototype by the end of the decade (2030), after which it will be some years before they get Govt approval to move forward (depending on which party controls the purse strings)! So, it's highly unlikely that these "New" missiles will be seen on operational fighters in squadrons before 2034-2035, or even later! In the meantime, European NATO Air Forces are screaming blue murder for the ability to use Meteor on their increasing number of F-35s, only to be frustrated by the answer of, "No, not currently possible!" So, when will it be possible? Well, the vague answer (the best we can hope for), is that at the very earliest this MIGHT happen with the Block 4 F-35s which are in the pipeline. But, this pipeline is already stretching and is unlikely to be ready by the end of 2027 at the earliest (without Meteor enablement)! To add Meteor capability it would require a substantial extra sub-project which WILL extend the date even further, by who knows how much! Maybe even postponed beyond Block 4. Additionally, there is NO possibility of upgrading F-35s already purchased to Meteor enablement! So, "Unstoppable!" ? That is a pipe dream!
