Defensive rounds for AR15. Reloading and shooting .223. 75 grain BTHP with 22.7 grains of Varget

In this video, we load 50 rounds of .223 ammo using a Hornady 75 with 22.7 grains of Varget powder. 
We show part of the reloading process, priming, the brass, weighing out the powder, and seating and cramping bullets.

even with ball powder I weigh each charge, IDK if its me that changes every time but I have had my loads creep up .3 grains over time, which isn't an issue I reload for cost but if I wanted the best of the best precision I wouldn't be happy.

For ball powders once I have the dispenser accurately set I don't weigh every charge, but I do check about every 10th charge to make sure that it's still accurate. This Christmas my wife gave me a Hornady Auto charge Pro, so it dispenses and weighs each charge automatically. no more worrying with a scale or dispenser. I have checked it with my beam scale, and the measurements are spot on. Thanks for watching.

I use a 12 gauge 10 rounds of 00 buck if that doesn't get it done well I am in trouble.

I'm not a lawyer but I would not be using reloads for home defense, buy factory ammo. Ask your lawyer

I am not familiar with this, why would there be any issue with it? What would be a realistic case against it that couldn't be easily overcome with a basic argument?

The argument is that you use reloads because you were looking to kill someone. That's a flimsy argument, given that the purpose of a home defense weapon IS to kill.
