Could've kept that anhinga to maxxxx the WS along with greylag? Anyway, you had nR in the thumbscrews here. It recalled a very traumatic WC game for me vs Sax where his board was all pinks and I couldn't really do anything without giving points. Only you lost. Anywho, a fascinating game. Cuckoo was probably one too many cruel acts.

Yup, I think could have squeezed out a few more points at the end. I have been to the receiving end of death by pink power too… not fun haha

Lapwing A tier? I feel like I'm devaluating a lot of birds from Oceania. We really need a tier list video!

Lapwing is amazing! Stay tuned

Lapwing is 🔥🔥, super flexible and easy to play, and at worst allows you to "trade" 1 food for 3-4, or more depending on luck. It's a stronger version of the American goldfinch and brown pelican imo

I want to say goldfinch and pelican are not even close haha

@@tuckNcache Oh I completely agree, I just meant that it's the same general type of power, ie "when played: gain x food"

Is there a reason you automatically discard your nectar on turn 1 to draw a second card? Is that something you do frequently, or only when certain conditions are met?

It feels more efficient to pick up 2 cards in a turn. especially with OE boards, extra cards can be easily turn into food or eggs, and the nectar go towards scoring for wetland. Unless I really needed that nectar to play a bird for better tempo, I think it’s usually worth it to spent the nectar to get extra card.
