Great video. Question for you, that had the din disassembled. You think it would be possible to change the colour of the light?

Thank you! 😊 You can see in video the gauges are red dials with red needle. It would be possible, but then you need to change the gauge faces to custom ones that have white dials and numbers. So the color can shine through it. Also you will need to solder LED light in color you want. I have not opened this product more than in this video. Hope this helps.

mate, didn't quite catch the reason why you mounted the clear cover/facing plate upside down. why was it? cheers!

Because the unit is from Japan and the face plate is facing towards right side of car. Since i am from Europe and driver sits on left side of car it would be very inconvinient to see the gauges, so i flipped the faceplate so it faces the left side.

I want to believe that it can be done with current models. I have not had/tested them, but they seem to be identical. Just minor differences in gauge faces.

Hi when you pulled apart the gauges do you think it is possible to change the LED lights, to change the colour, like from red to green?

Hi, i did not take it apart that much, but i think it should be possible to solder over led of choice, however thats not as simple as just swapping bulbs.
