As soon as I'm done at the VA with my chemo treatments, I want to go back to work to get one. I love the design.

Instead of complaining about the weight do some exercises build strength up. Other words get off the couch. More up grades transfer to higher price. What I have viewed in all the videos out there very well constructed high quality product at a super price! Hope to get one before the experts in KZbin drive the price to level of competition! American made by vets super price more affordable to larger population! Thanks for your service brother vet also 🇺🇸

I love the idea, concept and execution, but I have a question regarding the lateral movement of the swing arm. The question is if this will not add additional stress to the swing arm on it most critical point (close to the attachment point with the arms). My question is if the aluminum will not suffer great lateral forces that could lead to a catastrophic failure in the swing arm at the point it meets the adjustable arm.
@gravityparamotors3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment! Yes, this was a concern of ours and something we spent considerable time testing. We use 7075-T6 in our swing arms for this reason and have extra structural bracing machined in to handle these additional loads. If you view our other videos you will see that we have successfully completed in house stress testing significantly exceeding real world stresses. Let us know if you have any further questions.

Great work on the weight savings. For me it's very important. This is my 21st year flying and I've gone through the heavy frames in years past. I currently have a Nitro 200 E with over 150 hrs and will be upgrading in the near future. The Gravity is on my radar and I look forward to seeing the final weight saving product.

Any timeline on UK distribution and price point? Also re interchanging hoop sections weight v's robustness - on this idea will titanium be a possible future option?
@rupman27isback2 жыл бұрын
So what's the new weight now with the aluminum hoops and with the 185 motor? I heard somewhere that the fuel tanks first mold had extra plastic and now it's lighter. Any truth to this?

How is the compatibility with a Pollini 202? Will you be offering different engine options?
@gravityparamotors4 жыл бұрын
Currently it is only offered with the 185. The engine is TIGHT to your back. While we are looking at options of making new molds to fit more engines it is not today. You can reach out to one of our dealers and request the 202 on the Defy how ever.

It looks like the arm peg is beefy as all hell and can take a ton of abuse. However, the one thing I noticed that kind of concerns me is the actual arm itself seems like it's only secured on by that little puck and that little screw on the end. Can you please put my mind as ease that the puck and little screw wont sheer off in flight? What good is a beefy arm peg if the arm itself is only secured by a small shallow screw on puck?

We do not currently offer a trike direct however it will go on to several. Talk with Chad at trike buggy www.trikebuggy.com He can get you set up with both a Defiant and a trike.

I am seriously considering getting the Gravity Defiant. I do have a question and it is unrelated to this video. Are there any trikes that compatible with the Defiant? I foot launch right now, but due to back problems I see myself transitioning to a trike later(hopefully a lot later). I like the price point and feature set of the defiant.
@gravityparamotors4 жыл бұрын
There are several trikes that could be adapted yes but it would take some custom mounting solutions. 2021 it is in our planning to more widely support a trike option.
