Gravity Defiant - ACS / DFS Review & Initial Thoughts

Made a quick one about the Gravity Defiant's ACS / DFS system and how it changes flight characteristics. I liked it! I don't know if I'd be changing it all the time, but only more flight testing will give me that answer.

Totally fair review. I agree that the effects of either system increase with the EN rating of a glider. Essentially, widening that stance of the swing arms change the feeling of flight more on an Ozone Freeride than it would and Ozone Roadster.

Brrrr! Good thing you're a young guy. LOL Are wing manufacturers recommended riser width range specified in the wing manual or is that more of an EN rating thing? (i.e. wing certified with X cm of distance between the risers)

These look nice but they’re not as cheap as people keep saying. Cost as much as a scout and pretty much everything else.

Are you and I using the same configurator? To get the base model Defiant is $5899, and $250 to get up to the Moster Plus, which I'd recommend to everybody. That's $6149 compared to over $8500 for a Scout Carbon 🤷‍♂️
