Upping My Storage Game - Hooke Road Interior Cargo Shelf Install and Review - Jeep JK Rubicon Recon

I'm finally addressing my lack of organized storage in the Defiant!

That looks good. As far as the question about the 2 door: the last time I looked for mine, it was NOT compatible. 4 door only. Maybe they have a 2 door version now, but a year or two back, it was NOT a fit for a 2 door.

Hey, Rob! The only downside to it that hops out at me so far is that it limits the height of anything that you plan to put back there. My 53qt fridge fits with a bit over an inch to spare, but obviously I have to pull it out to open it now. It's definitely not a show-stopper though.

Yeah I did see that but at least it fits vertically like that. Still gives you a lot more overall usable space. Seems pretty beefy too.@@DefiantOffroad

I know this is for a 4 door, and I don't see an option for a 2 door on their website but would this possibly work for a 2 door? of course with the rear seats removed.

I couldn't tell you if it would work with a 2 door. The website and literature all say 4-door.

Can you please tell us the height from the top of the shelf to the ceiling of the jeep? thank you.

Slightly over 20 inches.

I'm going to assume that you've been using it for a bit longer than the video has been up. Has it began squeaking or rattling yet?

For the most part it hasn't. I did two trails in the George Washington National Forest this past weekend, and during the bumpiest part I did notice a slight squeaking sound coming from it, but it went away when I cleared that section of trail. In everyday driving, it hasn't squeaked or rattled at all.
