An Adverb
Aik adverb apny verb, dosry adverb ya adjective ko define karta hai.
1.Adverb defining Verb
He walks slowly.
yahan "slowly" "walk" ko define kar raha hai.
2...Adverb defining another adverb
He is running so fast.
yahan "so" jo k adverb of degree hai...apnay dosray "fast" ko define kar raha hai

3...Adverb defining an adjective
He is so lazy.
yahan "lazy" ko "adverb of degree" so" define kar raha hai.
Is ki following types hain.
1. Adverb of Time
It tells the time that when the action (verb) is taken.The results were announced yesterday.Here the Adverb is yesterday which is answering the question: When were the results announced? ‘Announced’ is the verb in this sentence.yesterday” is telling the time of verb
.Other examples of Adverbs of Time are - Once, Never, Tomorrow, Daily etc.day after tomorrow, after 3 days , 2 year ago etc.
2. Adverb of Place
E.g.. They will meet you there.The Adverb here is "there"
that is specifying a place for the Verb meet and the question being answered is: Where will they meet you?
Other examples of Adverbs of Place are - Anywhere, Somewhere, Near, Far etc.
3. Adverb of Manner.
These Adverbs tell about the manner of the action(verb), whether it is done happily or unhappily
E.g. He quietly slipped away.The Adverb here is quietly which is telling the manner in which the action was carried out and the Verb is slipped which is telling: How did he slip away.
Other examples of Adverbs of Manner are - Honestly, Joyfully, quickly ,quietly ,freely etc.
4. Adverb of Frequency.
These Adverbs are used to show the duration or timing of the action(verb) that is happening/had happened/will happen. They also tell us how often and how long these actions would be.
He likes to watch TV every day.Here, the Adverb is every day and it is answering about the amount of time spent in doing the Verb, which is watch.
The question in this sentence is: How often does he watch TV?
Answer is “every day”
Other examples of Adverbs of Frequency are - Frequently, Often, Yearly, Briefly ,rarely ,seldom ,mostly,
5. Adverbs of Degree.
She almost finished the work.The Verb here is finished and the Adverb is almost which is telling us about the amount of the work finished. The question being asked is:
How much of the work did she finish?
Other examples of these Adverbs are - Fully, Partially, Altogether etc.
6. Adverb of confirmation.
.... it confirms the action of verb like....
he will definitely come. here “definitely” is confirming the action verb “come”
surely, definitely, obviously, certainly, in fact, no doubt
7. Adverb of negation.
They are used to negate (reject) the verb of the sentence.
she will never come.never” is negating of the action “come”never,can not, do not, etc
8. Adverb of comments.
it used to make a comment on entire sentence.... it is the only type of adverb which does not define any verb ,but it defines the mood of a whole sentence.

9. Adverb of conjunction.(Conjunctive adverb)
are used to connect to ideas or clauses like...
Tell me your problems I will solve it accordingly.
accordingly, furthermore, moreover, similarly,also, hence, namely, still,anyway, however, nevertheless, then,besides, incidentally, next, thereafter,certainly, indeed, nonetheless, therefore,consequently, instead, now, thus,finally, likewise, otherwise, undoubtedly,further, meanwhile....
