Defining the Rapture

I’ve heard so much argument and my Messianic Torah followers don’t believe in the rapture because the Apostles suffered so we will too is their standpoint. So I prayed about it and asked the Lord to reveal truth to me. I woke up at 3:00 in the morning with Revelation 4:1 weighing heavy on me. I opened and read and wow! Who in scripture is the door? everything he teaches is biblical , except his ( and Calvary Chapel's) view of the pre-trib rapture, but that is not a reason to divide, time will tell who is right. If its not a pre-trib rapture and we suffer persecution by the beast well into the last 7 years there will be a lot of shocked Christians. That's why its good to teach both pre-trib and pre-wrath so Christans can be prepared for the worst, I vote pre-trin, however I don't see it in scripture, I had been pre-trib for 38 years until I look at the scripture with unbiased eyes ( which can be difficult).

Please double check with Jesus The church/bride rapture is a thousand years after the saints rapture John 6 40 Jesus says at the Last day Revelation 20 shows two Resurrections One is called the First Resurrection One is at the Last day Daniel 12 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting Life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. To say pre trib rapture, you have to say Daniel and Jesus are wrong about the Last day

I to in the first 4-5yrs I thought we would go thru the tribulation, even wrestled with my own mind when I God blessed me to know the truth of a pre-trib rapture. But God won...lol. Great material, Pastor Hibbs. I advise everyone to study in depth the Revelation 4:1 as John has written it bc that verse, and its surrounding context, embodies every single element with which the Scripture describes the rapture: the church (i.e., elders), the shout of command and the resurrection it causes (i.e., command: Come up here!), the trump of God (not angels), the Father's house (heaven), ending up where Jesus has ascended to (throne of God), and all others. I am amazed at the comprehensive nature of this verse. God bless.

Hi Ptr Jack, another interesting podcast. I always wanted to teach the same concentrating on this subject. Gary Hamrick did teach similarly, both of you were so invigorating my soul and spirit. I was formerly pastoring a pioneering church among the natives in the area where I happened to live. In 2009, while leading the church in praise and worship and preaching God's word; I suddenly felt a creeping coldness from the sole of my left foot to my shoulder. I was getting numbed, until I said, I'm having a stroke. Yet, I encourage the brethren not to worry, surely God will make me alright. Its almost 14 years now. When I saw and listen to you thru you tube, I was so motivated to listen to your teaching, the same with Ptr Gary and Amir who is frequently coming here-Philippines. Please continue with what God had anointed you to do. Please, I also need prayers for my complete recovery. Sometimes downed, but the Holy Spirit gives me strength reminding me of showing me God's glory in 1985 while on mission trip in one of the island here. In 1991, God also showed me in a vision how the church will be raptured. Also, the great Tribulation, how a rice field was field with blood flowing on it due to massacre. Furthermore, in 1983, another vision [my second], a parading angels in the sky with a banner of fire with writing " EXELSIOR DEO". Meaning Exalt the Lord our God. Again, Jack, just as God saved you miraculously from abortion, truly God has anointed you from the time of conception. Your ministry will flourish magnificently and be a True Light in a dark California State. God had forbidden me to travel abroad and I have to obey. Again, I need your prayer. Just a view....generally, a person who doesn’t ascribe to the pretribulational rapture is because they were taught that initially, and through extensive study, they came out of it, myself included. You won’t convince him. Just pray for him. The rapture in scripture does exist, but the placement isn’t supported when studying the originally languages. It runs parallel to the prosperity gospel. At the end of the day, our Lord is coming, but we must prepare to endure tribulation & if we are taking out sooner than that, then wonderful! Blessings to you.

@@debrabriggs4814 Thank you sister. I have the peace of God through Jesus Christ. But that does not mean I am going to live my life in peace in this evil and dark world. Anyone living their life in peace in this generation needs to carefully work out their salvation with fear and trembling. If the world loves you (so you live in peace in it), well the world loves its own, but not Gods. You will not get peace from the culture of today, the antichrist spirit of today. A true Christian will have no peace in this world. That is why we need the peace of God, as that sustains us. Lot's righteous soul was vexed living in his equivalent generation. Ours should be too. We are not go home, sit on the lounge, and watch our favourite movies in peace. Christ did not come to bring peace to the earth, but a sword, to divide between believers and non believers. John 6 Jesus says at the Last day over and over and over and over again Please give Jesus a chance to explain why He says at the Last day Revelation 20 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again till the thousand years have finished. This is the First Resurrection. Notice the dead are dead before the thousand years Daniel 12 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting Life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. The church/bride rapture is a thousand years after the saints rapture Revelation 20 shows two Resurrections One is called the First Resurrection One is at the Last day
