And they learned their lesson with players exploiting Anemo MC tornado by using constructs or walls to stop the burst from going anywhere after casting. There is no single fucking reason to make Hydro MC burst unstoppable aside from making it an annoyance to players. It doesn't matter if it has some theoritical "good" dmg scaling if you can't ever get a practical use to it. And he skill isn't that better either since it takes on-field time and does jack shit.

Geo is better for dps while Dendro version is the best version Traveler and will be the best version of Traveler judging by how hoyo makes their kit bad and decent at best. Dendro MC's kit good due to Dendro being a new element. Otherwise they would never make the MC's kit good on purpose. They never even bothered to give them any 5 star animation despite them being 5 star. Even Barbara a 4 star got one.

I believe pronouncing pneuma with the p is sound is accurate to Ancient Greek while the modernized American pronunciation is without the p. The original spelling is πνεῦμα and using that to search for pronunciation gives results where native greek speakers use the p sound!

Hardly see the difference. Physical TB is both the weakest Physical dps and the weakest destruction unit. Fire TB is equal to March another free unit and below Gepard and now soon to be released Fu Xyuan. The trailblazer and the traveler Are never really the BIS and while the trailblazer has a lot less competition currently its still a fact they are the weakest at both of their roles.

Geo MC synergized well with Zhongli, it wouldn't be a stretch if Hydro MC will have synergy with Nuevillette or future Hydro characters. Hydro is the most versatile element in the game.

i think he was expecting HMC to be at least DMC level. like even with all the other dendro supports that came out. he's still the 2nd best when it comes dendro off field presence. like Yaoyao has ICD and RNG, Baizhu can be better but he's too Single target oriented, Collei has weird ICD and lower downtime, and Kirara can't apply as much dendro as DMC.

How does his burst movement speed compare with Diluc's burst though? Or maybe even Venti's pull from his burst on heavier frozen enemies? There's a bunch of ways to stagger enemies backwards. You could even use something like charged attacks to knock smaller enemies back. I feel like it depends on how you play and what kinds of enemies you're facing. It still won't be too reliable, but there's at least some ways to mitigate how shitty it feels

Afaik that convention was dropped as early as Latin adoption of the words, and has been the case in contemporary UK English since before English was spoken on the cotenant of America. Since it's a made up word for the game, I'd say that in the end this also does give the creators license to pronounce it however they would like to

I tried the floor 9 abyss in a hyperbloom team with Riden/nahida/venti/hydro mc. Breaking news: hyperbloom is really broken. The hold skill has surprisingly good resistance to interruption. Still, between the fact that you cant move and you are actively losing hp, i was killed by non ventiable enemies pretty fast.

Is there any possibility of using something like Sacrificial Sword Kazuha to pull enemies into the Burst? Also a heads up about teams like 14:26, you will be unable to trigger Xingqiu's rainswords while using Hydro Traveler's Skill I wish Hydro Traveler were better, but I think part of their value will come from being pseudo-sustain at C6 which means they can be run without a dedicated healer and just run with something like Layla, Prototype Amber, etc. Really hoping Sacrificial Sword Kazuha can increase the time enemies spend in Hydro Traveler Burst, since Kazuha does have good synergy with most team archetypes that use Hydro so it wouldn't be difficult to fit him in.

Surely Pneuma comes from Pneumatics (a branch of engineering that makes use of gas or pressurized air) which is from the greek word πνεῦμα (pneuma). Listening to pronunciations of pneumatic the p is clearly silent and even listening to the greek word on google translate the p is barely audible and very, very soft. So personally, I'd just go with a silent p and simply pronounce it 'new-ma', definitely sound better than trying to fit a p sound in there. It's also how they pronounced it in Lyney's collected miscellany so you could call it the 'official' pronunciation.

Pneuma is pronounced pn-EH-v-ma. Pn as in "apnea", e as in "elephant", v as in "very", ma as in "math". And yes, the U is pronounced as a V. Now Ousia is way easier, uh-SEE-ah. Uh as in "orangutan", s as in "sea" and a as in "above". Hope that helps!
