Yup, Lore-wise, Breathe is irrelevant, even if a beautiful cinematic. The other Legend of Runeterra video I listed in my comment are canon, though. Oh, and if by "game trailer", you think "showing gameplay", not at all, it's a cinematic showing several characters (actual cards in the game) going against each other.

There's a lot of conflicts in Runeterra that are a result of conflicting ideologies, and a lot of champions that fervently believe in them. Which is good. Someone seen as a villain on one side could easily be a hero on another, which is how it should be. People like Darius are convinced that Noxus' views that anyone strong enough to take power deserves to have it, while someone like Heimerdinger is more interested in advancing technology for the sake of everyone, yet Leona and Diana are torn apart by their very nature and thrown into a conflict they never wanted by powers beyond their control. Even the Shadow Isles are utterly tragic in how they came to be. I adore the lore of this franchise.

Glad you enjoyed these, especially the Freljord one! Braum (big fella with the shield) and his lore and overall character concept is what made me fall in love with the League of Legends world. He's literally not anyone impressive, he's a just a dude that wants the best for anyone and everyone, and will do anything to get it done without sacrificing anyone other then himself if need be. He's friendly with everyone, even his enemies, those of dark descent and even those outright evil, because he knows deep down everyone has their reasons for being that way, and he won't belittle them by ignoring those reasons. He's buff and big because he found that that was the best way to protect people, and even helped him when he got his Shield, which in actuality is a Door with a True Ice enchantment on it. His lore goes that one day a little goblin boy was exploring the nearby freljord mountains and came across the door, but it opened for him revealing treasures inside. Tempted by it the boy entered and the door closed behind him, trapping him inside. The mother was distraught when her boy didn't return and Braum was nearby overhearing her, and naturally decided he would find the boy. Eventually he found the door which had the boy trapped inside, but try as he could his strength wouldn't allow him to open said door. After trying to for a very long time, Braum eventually decided "Well, if I can't go through the door, then I'll go through the mountain!" and proceeded to punch through wells of solid rock to eventually reach the boy. He rescued the boy, and being impressed with the door decided to punch out the rock surrounding it to gain the door as a shield.

Also Ionia has a lot of "Asian" inspired characters (kung fu etc...) so that's my favourite place with champs like Yasuo, Kennen, Irelia, Akali (who's the woman with Shen) and Karma being my top characters! Noxus (the sort of bad guys) invaded Ionia in lore so they had an epic fight

@@michaelwicks1088 they are designed that way on purpose because Demacia is designed as the beacon of "Order and Justice" while Demacia is shown as chaos and destruction. However when you look deeper into the lore they bother become much more morally grey. Demacia is very much class/racially structured (with the whole mage genocide as a prime example) while yes Noxis is very brutalist they are that way because they value strength and personal freedom above all else. The politics of Runeterra are surprisingly rich and worth looking into.

The dude who carries and throws a giant axe was Darius, he is very popular in the Noxus faction due to his alias as "The Hand of Noxus" given by the previous ruler Boram Darkwill. Boram was corrupted by the Black Rose(mostly by the person Le Blanc), before he got killed by Jericho Swain(since Swain knew Noxus was corrupted through his vision before he controls and attains the power of a bird demon Raum), since Boram died, Swain rise and makes himself and 2 others were the 3 leaders of Noxus(making the faction welcome to literally everyone who were equal in any race, as long as you were strong enough to be part as the Noxian Empire, despite they look like they were "villain empire", they had a point since they want to expand the empire, they ain't the bad guys, they were morally grey.). Swain(Vision), Darius(Might) and the Faceless.

It was said that their mere presence have seen cities and nations take the knee, rather that face them in battle". And Darius is the best in the Legion, so... yeah.

There are alot of good storys they could make but one i would like to se mutch more then any other is the story and advantures of Ryze in he´s quest to find and keep the Rune shards hidden away from those who want to use them for war. Ryze have imo easily the best backstory and lore of all the caracters. Go to Necrit channel and listen to it if u havent.

the guy with the hat is Twisted Fate, he's essentially Gambit from X-Men, but also can teleport. The red-haired woman in the second video is Leona, leader of a cult of sun-worshippers, Leona survived some sort of ritual that empowers her with sun abilities. The white haired woman was Diana, who was raised by the Solari (Leona's People) but obviously wasn't one of them, so went to Mount Targon for answers and was visited by an aspect that gave her a vision and imbued her with power. the ninja in the third movie is Shen, his power comes from his swords which can cut through both the physical realm and the spiritual realm. He leads a clan of ninjas that care only about balance, whatever balance might be. 15:57 funny you say this, he has a blue and yellow skin that are obvious references to Scorpion and Sub-zero. The blue haired girl from the fourth movie is Jinx, and yes, she is just like Harley Quinn. She also has a sister, Vi. The new T.V. show Arcane is going into the backstory of Jinx and Vi. The man with the big ax in the fifth video is Darius, a toady with an ax. Noxians are barbarians. The Man with the big shield and big moustache is Braum, The child in Braum's video is Ashe. Who grows up to be Queen of the Freljord. Have you seen the Fiddlesticks cinematic? the new Fiddlesticks is amazing. Fiddlesticks is my favorite champion. Omgggggg yes! I saw the notification that you guys uploaded another league of legends reaction video and i screamed with excitement! Im always so stoked to see you guys post more of these reactions! Thank you! Keep them coming! Im sure others may have told you already answered some of your questions but I’ll still reply to them just in case. Shadow isles: quick reference the mother and son were there because their father in the past would go and light the wards. The wards helped in the past on reducing the distance the black mist would travel. Keeping in mind that before Viego started making more aggressive attacks; the black mist would reach out occasionally on it’s own. FTheir father never came back and was assumed dead so the son went in to relight the wards and was obviously lured further in by seeing the ghost of his dead father. Ionia: so first off let me start by saying the actual land of Ionia is bursting with innate magic and the land influences and helps create the protector and stuff you see here. There is an order, called the Kinkou order, whose primary goal is to preserve and maintain the balance of this land. Noteable characters from there are Akali, kennen and Shen. Shen is the good subzero you saw. His title is the “Eye of Twilight”. He has the ability to see into the spirit and is charged with protecting the balance between both

Bandle City : Little Yordles known as magical creatures Mount Targon: The Lunari and The Solari are basically 2 cults worshipping the Moon/Sun.The Solari see the Lunari as heretics and viceversa. Leona is the aspect of the Sun while Diana is the aspect of the Moon ( aspects=Gods in targonian culture) Bilgewater: Pirate Lawless Port City full of thieves and scoundrels Ionia: Eastern inspired region where people fully commune with Nature and the Land itself. He seeks to preserve balance between the physical realm and the spirit realm that s why he can basically see both at the same time) Piltover and Zaun: The Rich and Wealthy sit in Piltover and chill while the Poor/homeless/needy call em whatever u want sit down in the Zaun slumps. There are basically 2 cities converged in 1 with the citizens separated by wealth standards. Noxus : Star Wars Sith Empire vibes .. you either rise up by yourself and claim power or get lost in the masses Shadow Isles : No need for introduction here i think .. just a small spoiler .. Thresh Q Spell in-game where he throws his Scythe after a person is named Death Sentence .. so yea figures what pretty much happened to the kid Freljord: 3-way Region clan War between Ashe's Avarosa, Sejuani's Winterclaw and Lissandra's Frostguard . In the Video we see Lissandra s minions attacking on a Avarosan outpost. Also there was a theory about Braum being Iceborn or Ornn's mortal champion chosen by the Forge God Himself ( Ornn is the creator of the magical door/ shield that Braum wields) after gettin impressed at Braums perseverence to punch a whole mountain down with his bare hands just to save a boy. "Harlequin Character" is Jinx. Pretty much each realm has a rival or enemy realm with some overlap. This has changed over the years as League of Legends expanded. Example: Naxos is a rival of Demacia and Ionia. "good Sub zero" is Shen, the female ninja was Akali.

The Harley Quinn character is Jinx. In terms of her concept, she's basically Harley Quinn and Deadpool had a baby. Lore wise, we don't know much about Jinx, other than that she has some kind of manic obsession with Vi, stemming from when they were children (it was confirmed recently that Jinx and Vi are sisters, though we don't know the precise nature of that relationship, such as whether they were half-sisters, stepsisters, etc). As for the Yordles, we know a bit more about them. They're basically gnomes, but also something between spirits and mortals, not quite one, not quite the other. They live in Bandle City, a sort of halfway point between the spirit realm and mortal realm, again, not quite in one or the other. The Freljord cinematic requires some additional context to understand fully. The Freljord is split up into three major tribes, the Avarosans, the Winter's Claw, and the Frostguard, each of whom are devoted to one of the three sisters of Freljord myth, Avarosa, Serylda, and Lissandra. The Frostguard are looking for Iceborn, individuals capable of wielding true ice, magic ice that never melts, in order to fight an impending apocalypse (which isn't the Ruination, btw). Their approach to recruitment is to force these iceborn warriors to fight for them, sometimes taking them as extremely young children. Also, in the Ionia cinematic, the characters are Shen and Akali. Shen is the Eye of Twilight, an individual charged with keeping balance between the mortal and spirit realms. Akali was originally the Fist of Shadow, an individual charged with taking action should the Eye of Twilight's insistence on careful observation paralyze them from action, but Akali abandoned the position following the Noxian invasion of Ionia, arguing that the old ways just didn't work anymore.

Sadly, she's not very good at the moment, it's not that she's bad, it's just the meta right now favors her two biggest competitors, Vayne and Tristana. Vayne is a much better front-to-back teamfighter, and Tristana can knock turrets down like they're nothing. Don't get me wrong, Jinx can do both of these, but not nearly as efficiently as these two champions can. Also, Ashe has been popping off with a Wit's End build recently, and she's one of Jinx's biggest counters in the early game aside from Draven (Seriously, Draven is so fucking annoying to lane against as Jinx. His attacks hit like a truck, and if he's got an aggressive support like Leona, you straight up can't do anything to him).

Not many people know it. But "Falconshield - This is War" serie 1 to 6, explains a LOT about the characters itself. Even Jinx (in part 2). How they think, react etc. Not many people even reacted to those, for some reason. It's all packed in a rap song. Along with "Just another Nobody" made sort of stories of the characters using the voicelines ingame. Including Evelynn (prepare for some very dark... stuff... That ninja dude (Shen) is a leader of the Kinkou Order and can travels to The Spirit Realm. He has two swords one for physical combat and the other for fighting spiritual beings. He also has two ingame skins that directly reference MK Scorpion and Sub-zero. The big dude with the ice shield is Braum. The most wholesome character in the game. The "shield" is actually an indestructible door forged by a god named Ornn. Braum's basically the Captain America of League of Legends. A little fun fact about the name Heimerdinger is that it is a combination between the names of two real life scientists which are J. Robert Oppenheimer and Erwin Schrodinger

About the huge guy with the frozen like shield, he is called Braum and i think he has like the funniest story behind him, basically the shield he uses is a door, he was so strong that he could do anything with his bare hands and one day he found a doors in a mountain that he could not open, so basically he broke the mountain around the doors and used it as a shield.

One region that was not included in this list was Shurima, it's basically the League of Legends version of Ancient Egypt. If ya wanna get a general understanding of that region, there are three videos ya would need to watch in order: Shurima: Descent into the Tomb | Cinematic - League of Legends Shurima: Rise of the Ascended | Cinematic - League of Legends New Expansion: Empires of the Ascended | Cinematic Trailer - Legends of Runeterra I would say a lot of the characters look one-dimensional good guyish, but that I believe was intentional. Alot of these characters are more 3-dimensional than what's portrayed here. But the thing is these tales of runeterra reaction (aside from the yordle), were basically advertisements for the league of legends card game (legends of runeterra), and were meant to show each of the regions and their champs in a "good light". For example, Demacia, sure Garen, and Fiora look like good guys, but Demacia is still a country run by a noble aristocracy that discriminates against mages and sends them to prison and tortures them, the only mages allowed to live freely in Demacia are those part of the noble family who runs the place, of which Garen and Fiora are both part of. Then we have Noxus. Personally I like to describe Noxus as basically the Libertarian Soviet Union, they are an expansionist Empire that invades neighboring countries and overthrows their kings and queens to establish a meritocratic based society, abolishing things like slavery etc. Now, there's a couple of caveats there, what if those neighboring cities like their King? It doesn't matter, Noxus will overthrow them and their nobility. In the cinematic, they showed a shitty king, but a "good" king would've met the exact same faith. In addition, take notice of what Darius says, "Noxus grants freedom to all those strong enough to obtain it", since Noxus is extremely meritocratic, most people will not receive that "freedom" he talks about, hence why is call it Libertarian Soviet Union, people who are too weak, will be bound to live in abject poverty for the rest of their lives more than likely. There's also alot of corruption in Noxus, but you'll have to read the characters' lore to really get an understanding of that. And one more thing, Noxus invaded Ionia, this is what led to the whole Kin of the stained blade thing with Yasuo killing his brother. Building off of that, we have Ionia, Ionia is basically the east asian region of runeterra, which major focus on spirituality. The physical realm and spirit realm is closest in Ionia, and so alot of actions that happen in nature have long reaching consequences. Shen may seem like a good guy, and you can say he is, but he's really all about maintaining balance. For example, if that boy's death was necessary for the balance of nature, Shen would've done nothing and just watch him die. And that's actually one of the major qualms between Akali(young girl ninja) and Shen, and I believe is why she eventually left the order. So Shen isn't really black and white either. Then we have piltover, none of the characters in this cinematic is necessarily bad per say, except maybe Jinx, but she's gone through some traumatic experiences that has made her that way. Piltover is basically a super advanced society with a focus on technology, its power source being hextech crystals, which are souls from a species in Shurima, so they're actually powering up their society through the souls of those species, though most people don't know that secret. Zaun is the underground city below piltover which is basically were they send their trash and is a lawless wasteland. Then we got SI, I think ya guys know a lot about there, so need to expand there, and there's Frejlord, the lore in Frejlord is really complex and deep, but the cinematic doesn't really cover it, if ya guys watch some other frejlord cinematics I might go through that. Oh and Braum is probably the biggest good guy among these cinematics. Yordles are basically little magical creatures that live in a realm between the physical and spirit realm called Bandle City. I don't want this comment to be too long, so am also gonna skip over bilgewater (pirate city). Targon has a close relation to Shurima through its history, but Targon is basically a civilization that lives on a mountain, mount Targon. The pilgrimage on top of Mount Targon is treated as sort of a spiritual journey, and spirits, religions, and gods has a huge focus on targon as region. Whoever climbs on top of Mount Targon, might be bestowed with great powers, especially if they represent a great noble ideal. Diana, the moon girl with white hair ya saw, and Leona, the golden girl with the shield, are two champs who reached the peak of Mount Targon, and they became the aspect of the moon, and the aspect of the sun respectfully. Basically, the Moon God/Celestial, and Sun God/Celestial, bestowed their powers upon them, and revealed a secret to them. It's theorized that that secret is that the Solari, and Lunari are supposed to be one. The Solari are a religion, and the dominant force of mount targon, and they worship the sun believing the Lunari, the moon worshippers are heretics, as they see the sun as the one true light, but as seen in this cinematic, the Lunari believe the sun and the moon are two halves of the same circle, or all share the same light. Diana and Leona realize this truth, but Leona is very Orthodox in her religion and wants to maintain the status quo, but those two really will not be complete if they do not come together, like the couple seen in the video, in which their part was illuminated when the sun and moon came together. It is why Leona waited patiently to see what happened, to see if the Solari and Lunari truly should come together. Anyway there's alot more there in that lore I can't go too deep on, else this would be even more of an essay

I was totally waiting for the runeterra vid named "Call of the mountain" thats from Targon, its beautiful. From the region with the star crossed lovers that seek eternity toguether and end up as a constelation in the sky since they couldn't due to the circunstances of their peoples religion (sun followers persecute the moon ones because they deem them as herectics that follow a false light) . That video in particular is pretty spicy actually because it shows a parallel with the actual league charactes Diana and Leona (moon lady with the glowing symbol in the forehead and gold armor lady - who was also in new dawn btw) the thing is Diana and Leona were lovers in the past, when they were younger but everything changed when Diana answered the call of the Moon and became its chosen, while Leona became the chosen of the Sun. The tension in that stare is so heavy at the end, and Diana who knows their people are meant to be toguether since their faith is actually two complementary parts of one, lowers her sword first. And because she still loves Leona, man they will make one day I know!

So since loremaster TheXLoneWolf isn't here ^^ i'll gladly answer the backstory of to jinx since you asked at, 31:57 (this is the Harley Quinn character) So funny enough there is very little known about her motivations. She's a bit of a troublemaker who started off as an innocent tinkerer. The Piltover and Zaun is a place where tinkerers come together and use the material Hextech to create "steampunk style" contraptions. Heimerdinger is probably the most succesfull of these tinkerers/inventors. Jinx is not really a "bad" character. More chaotic neutral in DnD terminology. Anyway what we know about her is she's got some kind of fascination for VI. VI is the pink haired girl with the big hextech fists. The relationship between them wil be explored in the upcoming Netflix show Arcana. You've seen VI before in your second reaction video. Thing worth knowing, Zaun is an undercity of Piltover. The guy who turned the gizmo into a one wheeled skateboard you've also seen before. So "good subzero" is interesting, his name is Shen, he's the leader of a secret warrior order called the Kinkou, he tries to not get involved in most human affairs and strives to protect the balance between the spirit realm and physical world. His two best students Zed and Akali (the girl in the video) both end up denouncing his teachings and leaving the order. It's kind of a sad story really... Some things that are interesting to know. The gambit type character is Twisted Fate. Noxus is often considered "the badguys" by people but they just value freedom over everything. So they kinda have this anarco capitalist society. To outsiders they seem brutal and expansive. But in reality they have an inclusive society where everyone's strenghts and talents of everyone is utilized and respected.

So when the kid from Noxus (invasive country) came to cut down a tree, the land will avenge itself (see how the red anger of the sentinel is linked to the boy). Yo I loved that you watched all of that so I will gladly provide you with a bit of story for each video so hold on please. To begin with these are technically trailers for Riot's other games - League of Legends Wild Rift (which is the mobile version) and Legends of Runeterra (the card game (think of hearthstone but better (in my opinion))) There are a couple of newer ones that you've missed, but by the looks of it you will pretty soon cover all possible Riot videos, so no worries. - Don't mess with Yordles is the video that introduced a couple of Yordles to Wild Rift (since the game does not have all LoL champions). Yordles are mystical, magical creatures that can move between the spirit real and the physical realm. Most of them live in "Bandle City" a place that no one knows exactly where it is and they can use portals to move to different regions, as seen in the cinematic. All other cinematic are related to the card game, but they are also treated as official lore of league. To make it simpler I will just give a few words about the regions you see in the cinematics in the order you saw them. - Mount Targon - a very dangerous and near impossible mountain to climb, but if you do manage to get to the top, an Aspect (god) can decide if you are worthy and may enter your body to use you as a vessel. There are some tribes that decide to live on the mountain and amongst them are the Solari, who praise the sun and the Lunari who praise the moon who are also declared heretics and hunted down by the Solari. In the cinematics you also see the champions Leona (the aspect of the Sun) and Diana (the aspect of the Moon). - Bilgewater - basically "no-mans land" the region of pirates, bandits, criminals, monster hunters and all that sort of people, but also a weird couple of tribes that worship fish gods. - Ionia - Mystical spiritual land that is very entangled with the spirit realm. As you saw in the video, you cut a tree, tree comes to cut you. So the people there are basically living as one with the nature and also have a no violence religion. After warlike Noxus attacked the region, this really caused for some internal conflict and hard choices on "how do we protect ourselves if we don't fight back". In the video you see a Noxian child(who stayed there after the war) cutting a tree. The "cool dude" is Shen (also know as the Eye of Twilight (can see into the spirit real)) who is the leader of the Kinkou (organization who's main goals are to keep the balance between the realms) and also Akali, who doesn't really agree with the view of the Kinkou and eventually becomes the Rogue Ninja. - Next are the duo cities of Piltover and Zaun (literally they are on top of each other) These are cities of invention where they fuel magic and technology into the weirdest shit. Piltover is the "fancy" rich district and Zaun is underneath it were not-so-legal experiments are being run but also just the poorer people live there. In the video you see Haimerdinger (who is actually a yordle but uses magic to appear human), Jinx (and absolute psycho who just likes to blow shit up) and Ekko (a genius from Zaun who eventually invents a way to go back in time for a couple of seconds. If you are interested in Jinx, well you're lucky cuz Riot actually are releasing an animated series about her. But for more on her you can watch "Get Jinxed" (Riot's first ever music video), "Arcane: Animated Series Announcement" (the announcement says it will release 2020, but shit happened), "Arcane: Animated Series | Official Netflix Announcement", "Arcane: Animated Series | A Score To Settle". I also suggest watching "Welcome Aboard | Odyssey Animated Trailer" - this is a trailer for an in-game event and some skins but it basically shows Jinx in an alternative universe. - Noxus - as already mentioned, warlike expansionists region, but they are not all bad. They are the "all-inclusive" region. They accept any one and any thing into their country and you can rise up in the ranks only if you show strength. Their philosophy and politics are revolving around the 3 principles/pillars of strength which are Might, Vision and Guile. In the video you see Darius, the hand of Noxus, who is the army leader. While they are technically conquering a kingdom you can also see that they are kind of "freeing them" by saying "you are no longer slaves, you are no longer subjects we all are now citizens of Noxus". - The Shadow Isles you are pretty familiar with by now, this is where the black mist is coming from, this is where Viego is coming from. The cool thing about the video is that it is showing a lot of scenery and architecture of what was the Blessed Isles before it got well ruined. - The Freljord - pretty much very cold very harsh environment witch a couple of tribes struggling to survive. There are 3 main factions there with different policies and views, but if I go in-debt there it will be way to long. - Demacia - pretty much the exact opposite of Noxus. It's a closed kingdom focused on protecting itself. There are special kind of trees growing near Demacia that can absorb magic. Mixing the bark from that tree with some other things (that I cannot remember) you get a material called "petricite" which nullifies magic and also gives that white tint you see basically everywhere. So while Demacians are very prideful honorable people that fight for justice and everything holy, they are also very racist towards mages. If you just happen to be born a mage in Demacia, well you end up in jail, which lead to a huge all-out mage rebellion, but that be a story for another time. AANd that pretty much covers everything you saw. I would honestly love it if you have just about any questions or you want to discuss something
