Asuka is Jin's Cousin and she came out of literally nowhere in terms of story. She's never been explained, or given any form of backstory all we know is that she's a Kazama and she has never met either Jin or Jun canonically.

We know that her father was assaulted by Feng Wei, thus she entered the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5. She knows that Jin is her relative but nothing much else. Also due to defeating Lili during Tekken 5, Lily became her self-proclaimed rival.

In terms of gameplay, she was supposedly the echo fighter for Jun after her appearance in Tag 1 (even has the pose of Asuka); Tekken 5 never really expanded that much into her and now she's been dropped down as Lili's probable lesbian rivalry.

Actually, them being cousins is a misconception. It's already been confirmed that Jin and Asuka aren't related. They just share the same clan name which is the Kazamas. I remember Harada himself confirmed this a few years ago.

Fun facts about Leroy, he was the first DLC character for Tekken 7, completely new character into the franchise as well. For Tekken 8, he was either the first character or one of the first characters revealed. His dog's name is Sugar. He's also voiced by Beau Billingslea in the English version of the games, Beau voiced Jet Black in Cowboy Bebop and Ay, the Fourth Hokage in Naruto Shippuden

I'm a Lili main so I have to speak up for her, she has always had *the* best, or top few best sidesteps in the game. She has a lot of evasive launchers, meaning if you choose the wrong move, she can both dodge your attack and start a combo on you at the same time. Her moves are very linear though so she is conversely easy to dodge, but her moves hit like a truck. This game added a lot of new low hit options and mixups for her.

- Lars: He WAS the protag of Tekken 6 specifically, but Jin has reclaimed his role as series protag. - Hwarang: Not really, he IS Jin's rival but he's not much of a protag because the main interesting conflict and story of these games that they're focusing on is the drama of the Mishima clan and those that are related to it. - Azucena: It's not that she's addicted, it's that she's the sponsor of her own brand. You can sometimes see ads for it on the billboards in the New York stage.

Paul being so happy and having that goofy smile on his face is fantastic. Man is like 50 and still an absolute badass. Also, Jin ended Tekken 7 with control of his devil side, that's why his iteration in 8 has moves from his devil form. He's closer to old self, as shown by his outfit being closer to Jun's: entirely monochromatic with red gloves. Starting in T6, he starts using quotes from his Devil self, like "I will teach you the meaning of fear." One of his intro lines in T8 is "Power isn't everything", closer to his T3 self.

Hell yeah! Tekken is probably my favourite video game franchise ever so I'm pumped for this reaction! And yes, Paul was the flat top dude who would fight the bear! You can actually change his hair back to his original style in the character customization :D We don't exactly know who where Asuka belongs in the family tree, she was first meant to be Jin's cousin and Jun's niece but the creator of Tekken said it was more complicated than that without ever giving more detail lol Too bad you missed Feng's trailer that came out around a week ago! But Raven works for the United Nations his design is inspired by Blade and he was replaced by Master Raven in Tekken 7 because his playability was low and they switched genders to see if that would work which speaks for itself

OMG!!! YOU REACTED TO THE CHARACTER TRAILERS!!! 😍 Raven’s trailer was such a badass. Paul Phoenix’s new look had mixed reviews from the Tekken community for various reasons. Jun Kazama’s return is always what I’m waiting for since Tekken 2, her interaction with Kazuya was emotional and intense at the same time. Her rage art made my jaw dropped on that one. Jin’s mother finally made an epic comeback!!! Hwoarang’s reveal trailer is my most favorite so far, he had a glow up and the special interaction with Jin made my jaw dropped because I already knew it will happen and I hope Hwoarang has an interaction with Xiaoyu because I remember their interaction in Tekken: Bloodline despite it was non-canon. The new character Azucena was so funny, the coffee ad in the end brought me a lot of laughter and I love how energetic she was. Asuka is Jin’s cousin, it was sad that she never met Jin or even her Aunt Jun canonically. Actually, Asuka did found out that Jin is related to her. Kazuya’s trailer gave me goosebumps especially for his nickname as “Cold-Blooded Oppressor”, I think he finally got what he wanted which is to be the next big bad just like what Clement said in the insane lore of Tekken video. Other than the gameplay, I’m also waiting for the entire story mode, because I’m excited for another father-son rivalry once again which focuses on Jin and Kazuya. Dragunov, Steve Fox, Shaheen, Leo, Yoshimitsu, Panda, Feng Wei, & Kuma were announced to return in the game as well. 19:53 from dmc... it's a decal of uryu, from bleach. and the truth is they didn't pay much attention to it 26:06 She is Jin's cousin 30:40 no wrestler, he is a Luchador 24:26 When I saw that he spoke in Spanish I was scared, when I saw that he was dancing I got angry...I almost hated this character, for fear of how they would represent something from Latin America...but he is a good character, and he doesn't really dance, I had nothing against him. that fighters would dance in fighting games... but, thanks to sf6, I hate it... they were abused for wanting to base themselves on a cliche, to present young adult from 2015-present.
