This battle was disappointing for me. Not only is the research hot garbage for BOTH Mario and Sonic, but the animation feels uncomfortable and rushed. Felt like the entire animation was against Sonic.

They pointed out that sonic out ran a singularity (which is essentially a black hole) for 30sec but didn't mention how sonic survived being sucked into it while Mario's largest feat shown was that tennis explosion,and Bowser is inherently magic so his feats of surviving a black hole and anything else doesn't really count because magic breaks all laws of existence so that says nothing about his physical being,seeing as he falls into lava and become a firey skeleton instead of actually dying. The castle feats of Mario kicking and stomping them down are also relative due to it being spacial anomalies and perspective altering like that of a cartoon.if it was really that deep seeded rather than animated shenanigans they would've shown him doing it in the more physically accurate games.

I dunno. In their newer episode, Shadow vs Ryuko, they said Sonic could survive the Death Egg exploding, which is a huge space station. Although, Mario has defeated Bowser multiple times, and Wario, who took a moon busting attack at point blank. I also don't like how they treated the star diver feat, like it was better than his lightning feat. Lightning moves at 220,000,000 mph. Just over Sonic's top speed. The star diver wasn't even half of that. Other than that, it's a pretty good episode.

The biggest problem I have in this episode is that Sonic a lot stronger and faster than they make appear. For example, he beat base-form Erazor Djinn who is immortal and wields the world of the Arabian Nights in his hand. As for speed, E-123 Omega analyzed Sonic's speed data, 130% faster than his previous entry, and they literally stated that light speed nothing compared to Sonic's true speed. And no one argues with Omega, who's AI was built by a man with an IQ of over 300.

There's actually so much more Sonic is capable of, Secret Rings is technically canon and so they forgot to mention the Flame of Judgement which is really just a curse that drains his lifeforce overtime but slowly and all the skills, Aegis Slider for one does as said so he has far more durability from that.

Should Mario want, he can use infinite, Gold Flowers to turn him to coins, Time Stops to freeze time at will, Earlier Times to restart the battle from the start if ever needed, Pocket Chomps to summon infinite Chain Chomps, or just infinite Super Stars to turn him invincible, forever. Even if Sonic wins, Mario can have Retry Clocks that auto restart the battle for him upon defeat. It's literally, impossible to beat Mario without removing all of his items from the equation first

@@adnan_honest_jihadist5775 One thing to mention is we totally can't scale any of Sonic's feats to his Archie Comics variant. As Death Battle themselves say, his feats in the comics are way different and way, way more powerful than his feats he pulls off in game so we instead have to look to the games for what he can do. I mean, in game he can't even out run that purple energy in Sonic Colors. In the comics he was so fast he could move while time was stopped. He wasn't immune or resistant to time stop, he's just fast enough to move anyways, which should be impossible If you have anything to use as evidence to these speed and strength feats that isn't from Frontiers, since that game hadn't come out yet so there's no way they could "downplay" his feats from that game. Additionally, in all honesty we barely need to look at Super/Hyper Sonic feats since Mario can, well, turn invincible as well using a Power Star. And unlike Sonic who only has limited Super time (since he needs constant rings to keep it up) Mario has access to infinite stars and infinite invincibility due to his bottomless gloves So since Mario can stall out the super forms, we mostly just need to look at his base. And his base has no immunity to time stopping (Archie Sonic is immune because he's too fast, but game Sonic is not) so Mario can just stop time whenever and use something like the Gold Flower to turn him into coins, another thing he isn't immune to. Oh and just to toss out as a reason Sonic probably ain't FTL+ at base would be the Cyan Wisps. Claimed by Sonic himself to almost be as fast as him. Unless we're ranking Doctor Ivo Robotnik as FTL+ as well, well the fact that his forces can capture Cyan Wisps suggests the little blue guys are a bit slower than ftl. That and, well, Sonic seems to need special boots to do that "Light Speed Dash" trick which is dubious on how fast it really makes him go since in game it makes him fast, but visibly not that fast. Also only works on strings of rings and nowhere else. But if you have something that can prove that Sonic is in fact faster than Mario's reaction time I would appreciate seeing it. Which game shows him explicitly going that fast?

I know it been a while since this video first came out and forgot to be bring it. But I like to say even as a fan of both characters I did not think Mario deserve or should have won. Since one none of the info or half of it, was correct. The TV show for both characters were not canon or connected to the game. Everyone agree that most of it was not canon or in anyway connected to the games. They say Sonic have dodge and was faster Lightning which is true. Lightning can go about 220,000,000 MPH but they then say Sonic can go about 200,000,000 only 20 millions off. But whatever it doesn't matter to me that much. At least the battle was fun watching.
