[S07 E05] Definitions & Intersections of White Supremacy, Settler Colonialism, Hetero-Patriarchy & Capitalism
What exactly do these terms mean- White Supremacy, Settler Colonialism, Hetero-Patriarchy and Capitalism?
These are social divisions that function together. They separate us. They prevent us from uniting for a just socialist society that works for all of us.

What we did not understand yet is that we have the same spirit of people at the head of our states now. People who are focus on themselves, people who work for their entre-soi, small business group, little family. In France policy is the same as it is in Germany, Uk, France, Us, Canada, Italy, Spain... We have exaclty the same profile of people even if they say, we are not the same party, their spirit is the same.🙃 Few weeks ago in France agricultors turn down the name of the village to show people we marche sur la tête. We walk on the head. Since 2002, nothing has changed for them, they work against others countries in Europe and internationally. It is not living together, it is living against. That is the core of the capitalism and liberalism system. Be dominant, be monopoly.

violent action against colonizing civilians that are detached from the military or militia agency has been legitimized under international law. Eastern European partisans who undertook action against germans immigrating to their homeland in the wake of the initial invasion, were understood to be correct in their activity by the United Nations.

Similar but different-- I think younger Americans' morality and sense of fairness is engaged because of how badly they've been treated by modern America, which thereby boils over onto the genocide of Palestinians. Youth are always more righteous anyway though.

Why are people obsessed with politics always poor?
@happyascheese
@happyascheese 23 күн бұрын
It affects us more esp. if you're disabled from birth like me. You're often forced to live in poverty to access the types of healthcare you need because the government subjects you to income caps. I was always told by my parents that education would be an equalizer for me because of my disability. I have a college degree and can't use it. Even part time work can make you not qualify for the supports you need. Able-bodied people making these laws wouldn't want to live the way they force us to live. Instead of financing bombs and unaliving brown kids I want the government to invest in people. It's that simple.

@@happyascheese Thank you for your comment. Very interesting to hear a variety of experiences. So you intentionally keep your income very low to qualify for Medicaid? I must be missing something, but even with paying for health insurance provided through an employer and the out of pocket expenses, wouldn’t you still be much better off financially overall? As well as also receive much better healthcare.

@@itsoktobehappy461 There's no other way to get PCA services for help with personal care. I asked if there was a way to pay out of pocket. There's not. In addition, currently, I can't drive. The only way to qualify for any type of programs that can help me learn after being evaluated is through Medicaid and SSI. It's a trap that alot of disabled people fall into. Traditional insurance won't cover the specific needs you have as a disabled individual.

I'm afraid the Palestinians were never going to accept the two-state solution and the Israeli were never going to accept a two-state solution either. Whether you want to be in favor of the one party or the other, an entirely just and fair solution wouldn't have been possible. They both have their reasons. The US wanted to be the unipolar world power and has been for a long time, they decided they needed to interfere because of that and they did. The conflict never went away and now we ask ourselves: should or shouldn't the US have interfered. At the time the interfering had started, this wasn't a question, the answer was blatantly obvious. So really all we're doing now is regretting history. But humanity needs to learn and evolve as do all living things in the universe. While learning, mistakes happen. It's part of the learning process. It isn't a crime. We should learn, improve and carry on. Oh, And in my opinion the history led by America and their culture of freedom brought lots of good things too, besides from wars and stuff that preferably wouldn't have happened. I feel lucky the world wasn't led by crazy religious extremists for example or Kim Yong-Un. The real crime would be not to learn because that would mean all the suffering that came with going through all this had been for absolutely nothing. At least now we have had the ability to learn. In North-Korea there is no such thing. (There is a YT channel 'Voice of North Korea by Yeonmi Park'.) With Hamas/Al-Qaeda/... things would have been worse. I hope we can remember this.

“Patriarchy” sounds like scapegoating men for the world’s problems, instead of acknowledging that women now have the vote and get elected to parliament and run businesses and have the power to determine the future by how they raise children in the first few years of life when women do most of the care work. Most people live in bourgeois-ruled countries, most of which are ruled by both men AND women.
@bluewater454
@bluewater454 3 ай бұрын
“Patriarchy” is just another buzz word that leftists use to divide us. If they don’t try to divide us by class, they divide us by gender or race. Lately they have used “gender identity” as a tool for division. Conquering through division is a favorite tactic of the left. It doesn’t matter if it is true or not, just that it is effective.

@@someonenotnoone Of course everyone is not equal. Take a hundred people and try to make them all equal in income, social status, or any other measurement that you care to use. It isn’t going to happen. I don’t care if you divide people by height, or hair color. You will not be able to make them equal in all respects. The left acts as if this is some nefarious plot devised by their imaginary boogeymen. Prejudices and biases are real, but they don’t explain all inequality. In fact, they don’t even explain most of it. Most inequities are simply the result of imperfect people living in an imperfect world.

Talk...talk... talk. Too much talk and no action. What purpose does it serve to keep talking about problems that we are painfully aware of. If these political rift profiteers were real progressives they would be wide open with their support of a third political party that has zero donor money in it. We are aware of the problems. Time to stop talking about the problems and start doing something about them.

homo-patriarchy does exist and is close to phalangities and sacred band organizations who demanded that combatants find lovers within the ranks. In civil society the Greeks also practiced pederasty and would permit a patriarch to find penetrative gratification from a scion given the boy was provided future support, usually in the form of political agency.
