This is fantastic, fun equipment. I love it. But…..; I can , and in fact have a system that is far more useful for 90% of the music commercially available. I don’t need a first pressing. I can stream apple and literally amaze anyone that listens. I can play heavy metal loud or Mozart concerto for violins and it’s superb. Shake the house or tickle the ear, 5,000 dollars, and I will put it up against anything at any convention. It is truly about matching components and understanding the capabilities and limitations of the source material. The way it was recorded dictates what you need to reproduce it correctly or enhance it to meet you personal expectations. I’ve been doing this my entire adult life, first system at 17 wan several thousand dollars, been through it all. So haters…. Educate yourself before commenting

Seems like an overkill. My 48 year old speakers are good enough for me. They each have one 15" woofer, 2 dome mid-range drivers, and 4 dome tweeters. And yes, they have lasted 48 years. So let's see now, divide the cost for me making these speakers by 48, and the annual cost is practically nothing at all.

Just another "Gear pusher" with no concept of setting up a system in a room ( acoustically)!! Sad, as there are several rookie mistakes here and one would hope you know what they are. If you believe you can articulate the finer nuances with so much clutter, windows, and several other problems. If this comment stays I'll be amazed...

Kevin is a great guy with decades of high level experience. My experience with DA has been very good and I would say Kevin explains his equipment well but he is not pushy.
