I got the answer on Chegg but there was not a deep explanation. I believe, if I am studying Engineering, I should understand it. This explanation is amazing. Thank you professor for your great effort.

You forgot to add a negative sign infront of the deflection equation but it's on the notes. No worries

Negative sign use in cantilever beam because it's presenting logging condition

If we have considered the moment of wl load then why are we again taking moment of wx load ? In case 1 Pls answer

In case 4 the length in which load distributed was 'a', where as in case 5 , the load from down is on '(l-a)' , so I think in case 5 , we need to interchange 'a' and 'l-a'

At 34:70 if you have taken sign minus out then there should be plus inside and sir if we are taking uniform loading from down isn't there be any change in sign

If the simply supported beam carrying UDL and it's deflection is y, then if length of span is doubled .what is the deflection at the centre ,if UDL is same?
