I'm not so certain that companies "raise the price" of their products when they sponsor pro gaming. Even if so, I could care less about spending an extra five bucks for a DasKeyboard, and if doing so I help support pro gaming, theres nothing wrong with that.

The funny thing is that when Blizzard banned Destiny for those seven days they were actually punishing Deezer in a way too, because when Destiny wasn't there to snipe, all the meaning was suddenly gone from Deezer's life...

You're not forced to buy products but the companies that invest in the commercials have to raise their price just to do so. Indirectly all the people with a ''razor mouse'' and ''blabla mechanical keyboard'' are just sponsoring a few guys hobbies. It's true that it is entertainment, but most entertainment is (financially) overrated (sports). It weakens the position of the consumer, they pay more for less. The product with the best marketing or ''advertisement place'' is not always the best.

Because we live in ridiculous luxury, other people have to buy products, so the producers can sponsor people turning a hobby into a ''job''.. Maybe 10 percent of the people should have a REAL JOB, so 90% can be ''progamers'''... Some people...
