Love the reaction. I was there in the crowd and it was indeed amazing. You just hugged the people around you that you didn't know from the beggining. After the closing ritual a lot of people just sat down on the ground where they were standing before and talked about the 4 amazing days. I remember the "speechless" feeling I had. Like, "what have I been a part of", you couldn't understand the emotions you had. Q-Dance really stepped it up this year. Thanks for the reaction!

This is why i am into hardstyle as well. The big difference between there crowds is in metal you still have to follow some kind of clothing type or some will look at you (have been on many concerts with my parents) and in hardstyle you can come as whatever you want, like in a carneval ^^ And the show.. the effort they put into it i just insane.

hardstyle is not main stream here in the Netherlands so if you go to a party/festival like this you will be a part of the crowd because we go there all for the same reason....party!!! we are a down to earth kind of people here but in a crowd like that we are on another planet and party hard nice reaction btw

Only Q-Dance can pull off a show like this. They’ve been doing this for more than 20 years now. They’re seriously good at it. Some extra info to explain the weight of this song. Defcon is a 4 days festival and this was the first edition after the corona restrictions were lifted. And this song was the last cherry on the cake of a fantastic 4 days after so long being locked in our homes so the feeling of comaderie, which is always high in this scene, was so elevated during this edition. And then this song at the end.... It was amazing.

My family always thought i was just going to a muddy field and taking drugs ,i can tell you now that field ain't muddy 🤣 im the only one that's been going to these places most of my life since 14 and im considered old school mid 90s hardcore but still love the music till today and just about to switch the decks on and enjoy a fridy night ,,one big hardcore family who look out for each other stranger or brother ✌️ emotions is all you feel ❤️,peace from Scotland ✌️

I can imagine what it's like to be there, because I was there. The first track made me break down completely. I was finally home after these past years of nothing, just had the weekend of my life and these were the last moments. I'm emotional again watching this, can't wait for Qlimax! The fireworks is brilliant all over.. but the best bits are at the centre sort of on the wings left and right depicting the flapping of the giant wings like it's flying away. The whole fireworks is part of this movement from the flapping of wings do the dust it releases and the sound of hitting the sound barrier with them big bang's. Brilliant!

Your reaction is beautiful. I can only imagine it's no way near your favorite music, but in this case the experience surpassed any favoritism or genre. I've been here several times ('03/'04/'15&'16) and always had a blast. Even though is pretty hard music and could attract the rougher part of society, it somehow doesn't. I've been to over 300 festivals and parties over the past 20-something year and just can't get over the fact that these events always top anything else. It's the overall message but above all its the eagerness of the crowd to be together for a few years. I've worked on this festival for two editions and seen the lists of preparations...this show is just SO expensive and to make a better and more immersive show each year is no simple feat. They do it to thank the visitors, the 40.000+ on the camping site who stay there for 3 days...and on Saturday the 20.000+ extra folks that enjoy just one day. You're Ozzie's right? There has been festivals of this organization down under...they might still do. I've got too much to tell but I don't want to overdo the superlatives... In summer there's over 400 events each weekend here in the Netherlands, some small, some big, some with many genres, sone fixed on one style. I do have a 'script' with all these preparations for this festival somewhere. I can't share, but I can tell you the short version is over 250 pages.

Nice. I live in a area with many of these festivals, in the Eindhoven area. The closest one is 3 km away, and I feel the windows tremble sometimes. It's for sure a experience, and you'll meet people from many nations. My first one was in 1996,a inside party. Many followed. It's really a joyful coming together, not only because of certain pills and powders.

We went to the defqon in 2019.. Me, the wife and our 5 kids and their girlfriends. in total 11 of us. At that time in the age of 13 to 22. And it is as we say over here in the Netherlands.. Rave to the Grave
