Facts tbh. I was born in 93 and I can just feel my childhood in the atmosphere of this song. Not that I was actually listening to Deftones as a young kid lol, it just takes me back to the way late 90s/early 2000s culture felt on a visceral level

Fun Fact That high pitched crazy scream is actually All Chino. It's this strange whistle gurgle scream. You could see him do it live in some of the earlier shows. He doesn't do it anymore though, Maybe because it's to hard on the throat.

Not to down play Stef and Chi who are both amazing in their own right...but Abe and Chino are the standouts; they dictionize (not a real word) passion, emotion, and drive. The four altogether, sprinkled with a little Frank Delgado is a force you can't f*ck with.
@timkluntz83622 жыл бұрын
@@joshuaguerra2651 I should've seen Deftones perform live for the first time when I was 15 in 2003 when they were on the Summer Sanitarium tour playing alongside Mudvayne, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, and Metallica headlining....but when the tour arrived in Minneapolis, someone got on the mic and informed the sold out arena that Deftones would not be performing because Chino had officially blown out his vocal chords. HUUUGE BUMMER, and I remember a big portion of the crowd literally leaving after that announcement because they only wanted to see Deftones. I finally got to see them perform live seven years later at First Ave and it was like an out-of-body experience!
