What if deftones tuned down! There are so many riffs that would sound sick as FUCK. Even some of the 8 string ones man (how far you tune down is obviously up to you) That'd be a sick video and i'm personally very curious what you could do with that. Awesome video man

@puneethvenkatrao987 5 жыл бұрын
Elegant? No offense love them, but can you explain?
@bernoulli884
@bernoulli884 5 жыл бұрын
@@puneethvenkatrao987 There's very few complicated chords or even # of chords in his riffs. Like if you take the Be Quiet and Drive main riff, it's just a bounce from an octave chord with an open bass string over to a power chord, back and forth. But Capenter does these variations like the bend in the chorus on the octave chord that just make the riff *his* style. So you can call his riffs pretty simple, but he's got a hell of a lot of rhythm and creativity that add up to make it his unique style. Not too technically complex, but it doesn't have to be to sound great.

Would you consider doing a breakdown of these riffs in a video series for us? I want to play all my favorite Deftones songs and you have them down perfectly. I have an Ibanez GIo and I wanna really break it in. Ty for this amazing video.

What about a Katatonia riff evolution? Or maybe Paradise Lost, those bands changed the course of their sound quite drastically through the years, would be a treat to watch a video like that!

That 8 string ... The color, the headstock, the body. It's the perfect synthesis of what a metal instrument should be for me. Killer video too.
