But there you are afirming he's so underrated😢...C'mon ,let's grow up.
@musiciansmomentumofficial2 ай бұрын
@@sergioaraya681 hahahaha So no one can be underrated if they have commercial success? Not how words work. So let me slow explain it. This particular musician, Abe Cunningham has had great commercial success yes. But when the discussion comes up listing or debating the top drummers of the last 25 years, he is rarely mentioned if ever. And he rightful should be on that list. His work and efforts warrant a higher degree of recognition and praise and more notoriety. Now that we have grown up...and talked big boy talk, maybe it's ok to share some opinions. If you're unfamiliar with the lore behind Back to School, it basically boils down to Deftones being told by their label to write and record a "Limp Bizkit song" in a day because the initial release of White Pony didn't sell well. White Pony was then re-released with Back to School shoehorned in as the opening track, in the hopes that it would boost sales.

Of all the bands I grew up with, few have had the staying power of Deftones. I wouldn’t say they were my favorite band in high school, despite how much I loved White Pony, but every album got better, and every year I listened to them more and more. Now? Easily the band I’ve listened to the most frequently for the past decade.
