Worth noting that you can get the Tuskarr items starting lv10 already (ice fishing) even if you can use them at lv13 or 18. When I hit 18 renown, I already had 50 items that I could turn in for more rep after that.

TIP: if you are going to grind valdrakken by doing wrathion then you might aswell not turn in the signets, seeing as they keys themselves will be more than enough, instead sell the signets and treat this as a gold making avtivity while you are at it

Worth noting for the tuskar that the fishing route also can make you some solid gold at the same time. This will of course go down over time, but my current 24 renown is a result of fishing where I hadn't even known about the rep you'd get from it, I just knew that fishing was making 100k~ per hour from the ice fishing holes. Right now magma threshers still sell for 87g each and frosted rimefin tuna still sell for 115g~ each, so will prob be worth ice fishing next week for some people since it's MUCH easier to get the tuskar crafting items from deep ice pools than it is from overheated lava pools.

Honestly certainly MUCH MUCH better than old reps. Not that timed gating (remember dailies? Huh?) Community asked then to be grindable, now they are. Don't wanna hear anyone complaining unless it's exclusively about the nerfs (which is kinda understandable imo) Laughs aside i don't think they will be as hard to level ups as some previous ones. I'm 100% sure there will be ways to level up incredibly faster in the future (as happened in SL), So current speed is not that bad

As someone who wants red scales for my dragons, the Valdrakken rep grind is pure pain, and I was just like "so not worth it" and will wait for it to come naturally via dailies, weeklies, raid boss trophies, etc. I'm still mad that the "black scales" from Sabellian rep is PURPLE on 3 out of 4 drakes, and even on the Highland Drake your wing leather and belly are for some reason bright yellow instead of grey (like literally every black dragon), so it looks like you ran out of circus mid-bleaching.

I used to enjoy this game. Now it just hurts my head. There is just far too much going on, it's overwhelming. Even when you pick one thing you want to achieve, and then you learn the 3,000 things you have to do to get it, you then have to figure out HOW best to achieve each of those 3,000. For this one, it is best solo here doing this. For this one it is best to do in a group... but not any group... only a group that consists of 6.53 players on average, and it must be done when the moon's shine is at this latitude and longitude. It's so bad that I can't even get more than 5 minutes through these videos trying to understand wtf I'm supposed to do. The game used to be a 2nd job to play. Now it's a 2nd and 3rd job just to know HOW to play.

if u are grinding valdrakken rep do NOT deliver keys to the lizard. he is the only guy that doesnt give 50 rep on delivery, i delivered so many keys to him before realizing, dont make the same mistake

Thing is, except for a measly few recipes for certain professions, theres no reason to do these max grinds at all. If you really want to be effective, go for renown 20 for all four factions, so your alts will have a very easy time gaining renown afterwards. Anything above 20 will almost passivly be given to you through world quests and weeklys. Im a pretty hardcore player and have grinded some rough stuff during wow´s lifetime, but grinding renowns like this I really question the sanity of the people doing it.

my guys - 376/ 389 gear is locked behind the renown. Dragonscale 18 for boots and trouser, tuskaar 14 for bracers, valdraaken 22 for Belt and head and with the maruuk i suppose you get hands pretty early (i am at 13 and got them without even trying/ farming). Maruuk 25 would be the last big step before m+ an raid Start, but i couldnt bring myself to that... Wrathion/Sebellian for 398 and 386 gear and Kobalt for 389 ring. Imagine starting into m+ with 383 ilvl instead of 372. Makes pushing for 15s faster so you get the 405 gear faster/ more gear in less time since you want to be stacked af for the raid on the same evening :D thats the whole reasoning

Huh, I only participated in 3 but I think it barely took 5 minutes each. People were so eager to kill stuff that as soon as each stage started, I barely got there and hit anything and it was over. we waited more for mobs to spawn than anything else.

When u do them in raid farm group they take 4-6 min, usually around 5 depending on tasks and zone. Also not every group is equal, i play on wm on and one of the reasons is that groups on wm on seem to be more focused and active in that type of content, every group i joined had leaders constantly checking and kicking afkers.

@@ValtaKash this lasted a week. On average it took people 17-20 hours to get one rep 6/6. That would be around 3+ hours farming a day to get one to 6/6 and another up. However. Gotta factor in leveling and stuff too.

The easiest way to get renown with Tuskarr is the community feast you can get a renown level a day easy with under 1 hour play time & its repeatable as if you wanted to you could get 2 renown levels a day , I was getting 800-1000 a run which takes 15 minutes I just do it log out come back a few hours later do it again and jusr keep repeating I got to 30 renown fast

Guys, I found another way, if ur main is all above renown 10, then use fresh alt (getting 100% exp gain), use that alt to grind the obsidian/weekies, events, campaign and side quests. Your alt renown should surpass main. Saving u at least 3-4 lvls of renown grind for each faction. Obviously this only if ur intending on creating alts as well. I prefer this then mindless endless grinds, would otherwise go insane

pretty sure they cap your Rep to 10 and 20 for your alts (needing to unlock each cap on your main) so Your Alt would reach renown 10 quicker than it did your Main but then they suffer the usual Rep rates until one of your toons advances and unlocks the next rep cap.

If ur alt has not done any campaign or side quests, which is guarantee rep, it will lvl faster than main. Save u dry digging dirt few renown lvls btw 10 and 20.as mentioned only if u intend to lvl an alt (parked at 60) in the first place. Otherwise probably take longer overall.

@Joelito Enough renown with Valdrakken is super quick and easy just playing casually to progress campaign. There are little progression perks to getting the various faction renown up, but not necessary. Not sure why the video acts like renown grinding is important, but it isn't, at all. Maybe it is trauma from past xpacs has people thinking they need to rush farm shit and burn themselves out to keep up. But those days are over. Relax.

@@Sk1tz092 The main story continuation is designed to have breaks in it for a while for good reason, but personally I think the better approach would be to just not release until major patches - having it time gated by renown level makes some players feel the need to renown grind to get to it - which is not the intent - the intent is, you'll get to the renown when, over time, you just participate at your own pace in the myriad things to do aside from main story quests. There need be no rush with renown nor the main story other than the rush one puts on self.

Good way to get a boost is get to 10 on each faction then just do quests on an alt. My alt is a human so I'd fill my quest log, go and get the dark moon buff then hand them all in @120% rep. My alt is already well ahead of my main in terms of rep without digging for dirt.

How does that work? The rep boost for getting to 10 ends when the Alt gets to the same Rep level, is it just because the quests get you to Reknown 10 with some left over to push a bit further? If that's the case, I do wonder if the time you spent on Quests could have just been spent grinding on your main and essentially be at the same Rep level.

The easiest way to get tuskarr rep is community feast. Every feast gives ~750 rep. 90% tasks can auto finish without actually doing anything. Feast happens every 4 hrs. With almost no effort, you get 1.5 renown lvl per day. You'll causally get to max renown after a week or so.

The renown would be fine if it was account wide. It's really killing any motivation to even touch an alt outside professions for me. Just make it so quest give renown once and it'll work fine. If you're hard-core and want to sink time into the grind you can do world quest on all your alts too but for the love of God blizzard needs to stop with the single character progression when everyone has alts That being said the grind is not bad, just play the game. It's not about getting to the end as fast as possible, you'll burn out and have nothing to do. I just want it to be account wide

Best thing is the heroic upgrade for crafting at the end, most good guilds with degen m+10’s or heroic raid full clears week 1 to get the same item. So basically don’t stress it as your still hard capped to 2 crafted pieces as you don’t get your 3rd spark until week 3 of raid/m+/rated pvp being out (5th week total of DF).

None of this is necessary to do. This isn't like Shadowlands where there's hidden power locked behind the grind that you will never catch up on. ANY gear you get from these grinds will be replaced when the raid and M+ comes out. Do not grind if you do not want to. You are not missing out on anything important.

You can get good stuff from the rep grinds, but unless you want to be on the leading edge of crafting, or want a slight head start on gearing so it'll take a slightly higher key to replace your preseason gear... /shrug? You'll get the rep eventually by just playing the game and there are only very small incremental increases in power, that will be quickly replaced, nothing essential for high level play like legendaries or soulbinds, or whatever borrowed power of the month.
