Its not true, salary verification and validation is supposed to be done by HR for continuous service payment. If someone is abroad and still being paid salary then its big administrative error or blunder. @de God son, i think you should be careful with words and get to understand employee contract in Ghana. It’s clearly stated if you dont show up at work for 2consecutives months, it qualifies automatic dismissal. It is solely administrative duty to validate salaries in Ghana, and also verify duty rosters.

Some health and other government workers have travelled to work outside knowing perfectly well that they're not going back but they will not submit their resignation letter whiles receiving salaries. These same people will go around to blame the government. I support the digitalization 100%, this will go a long way to control money movements in the country. Edit: I have always suggested that if government workers such as nurses take their leave and travel abroad their salaries have to be frozen for some period of time to know if they are going back to work or they have quit
