I think the thing I noticed about Degrassi. The characters Dallas and Adam both worked together when they were younger on Disney's the Pacifer. I also remember meeting a few of the cast members when I was at Sick Kids one year.

Most people named Toby it is actually an alternate form of Tobias. Sort of like how Dan is short for Daniel, Greg is short for Gregory etc.

Oh yes...90210 was def.Spelling's attempt at making a similar show for The U.S., but it fell short of what they were expecting it to become, and actually went another way, which actually became so super popular, they decided to keep movin that way with it, until it eventually just went off the rails to NOTHING De Grassi-esque what-so-ever...and was then branded with a whole new genre of "TEEN NIGHTIME SOAP" !!

Alsooooo, last one: Absolutely The Next Gen.cast,both boys and gals (all of them thow, not just the gals u named), wore all their own clothes, did their own hair(althow would get it touched up by hair and makeful to style it early mornings,& get camera-ready), & chose all theor own accessories and makeup looks .With the exception of a slim few(who had def.charcater differences, like Ellie, for example...)...literally only a handful...always chose their own EVERYTHING. They have each one by one said that in interviews and shows over the years, since the beginning, and always make fun a their past style, and laugh their butts off. Hahaha.Althow some of it was quite fetching, & stylish for the time and even after, I personally think!! Lolol😎😱🌺🌞🤔🤣🤣

Arsenal 17 off the top of my head I will have to say “it creeps” and “everybody wants something” (The one where Lucy films the zits video). I really like those because it’s just, the kids having a good time!

Katie of the Night: Everybody wants something is my all time favorite. I also like anything with the twins. Although I think most boys had a crush on kaitlyn, I also had a thing for them as well. I grew up just outside of DC and always had a fascination for Degrassi. I had forgotten about it for some time, but lately my interest has been renewed. I truly don’t understand why their isn’t an effort to make a show like this today. I like watching your videos because often the thoughts you share are similar to ones I’ve had watching the series. I thought I was a fan, you may have me beat though:)

I love the shirt on u...but the clothes on New class were almost all just HORRIFYINGLY aweful. Some coulda been cute but not how they styled or paired them(most were just aweful thow,as said)... Aaaaand, f.y.i., as if u care(the short is super cute ON YOU, as said), but I detest--probly my worst character--ESMÈ. She is soo damn rude and gross. Eww. On another note, soooo glad they did not cast Paula as Miriam's character Emma...and glad she went back and CHOSE "JANE"...because could unhomestly imagine her bein' Anya or Holly J?!?!?????!!! EWWWW...squared.Lolol.

Shout out to Noggin Network! [The N!!] --Loved those home Canadian-style "cribs" moments from back then...the did those for The Next Class, as well, but since it was no longer on The N (well, the REAL N!) , after Netflix bought it, they aired them at different times and even switched the later ones to internet - only productions...but all are on-line, and u can see em for free if ya want.[if u havent already!!♡☆♡]
