+Ashley Dunning I wish she did make it to the funeral but she was three hours away plus she had her own issues at Banting which I wonder if hearing of JT's death had a part of her breakdown. It was nice for her to be there.

I always wondered the same thing too. It's a dumb question but how did she find out that JT was murdered? I am guessing from Spinner since he was friends with JT, or maybe Marco and Ellie told Paige. Either way it's comforting to see Paige there to honor JT.

No, don't think that it's rediculous that JT dying makes you sad bcus it reminds you of someone you knew who died to.? People make shows about this for ppl like You. Someone died of cancer, my mom died of cancer. Someone died getting stabbed to death, my uncle died getting stabbed to death, Emma was diagnosed with anorexia, my few cousins were diagnosed with it. It's okay to connect with things in movies or shows. A lot of things that degrassi puts in their shows just shows me how much I relate to the girls or even the guys.

Actually if you listen to early conversations between them and watch the first episode they had to of been friends since before grade 7 because season 1 episode 1 (Mother Daughter Reunion pt.1 ) was still in summer they all didn't start school until season 1 episode two (Mother Daughter Reunion pt. 2) So I think they've been friends since like grade 2 if I remember a conversation they had in Season 3 when JT and Manny were flirting...
