I love how this felt so natural and they were mostly acting like their characters, especially Shane, Aubrey, Jake Goldsbie, Ryan, and Melissa. I wonder how any of the cast members would react to this, especially Drake. Can't believe this was leading into 2003, this feels like forever ago

I was counting down with the Degrassi cast. Happy 2017 to 2003! Man I miss them so much, watching this gave me so much nostalgic memories. Why wasn't Sarah, Kristina, and that girl who plays hazel there?...... season 3 of Degrassi would be happening around this time, and Ryan's voice would drop and his hair would grow 😃. Ha, JT you are such a character 😂. 😞 I miss this show with a passion!!!!!!!!

@Lena 95 I am aware however they partnered with Nickelodeon which is under Viacom and a good portion of the funding for the show came from them. Degrassi wouldn't have gotten the traction it did without Nickelodeon/Viacom.

I watched the show from the very beginning and remember the exact day it premiered here in the states, but in order for the show to be distributed here they partnered with Viacom and in doing so Viacom had a hand in the production of the show and when you etch this video, The N, which is under the vision umbrella, is the first thing mentioned. Not epitome nor ctv even though the show originates from Canada.
