I always hoped that Jimmy and Sean would have become friends after the school shooting. They both went thru a lot during that time and it matured them more so that previous beef would have been squashed. They would have also supported each other a lot and formed a close bond too and respected each other more. It's a missed opportunity indeed.

That wasn't a missed opportunity. Because Sean and Spinner have always been friends and they have a mutual friend and that is Jay. Because Sean would've helped Spinner if Jay wasn't a bad influence on both of them. Because Sean would defend Spinner to anyone that blamed him for the shooting even though it was Jay that caused the shooting and not Spinner.

I don't get that either and I find it very weird that they didn't interact in season 4 right after the shooting. I really do think that Jimmy and Sean crossing paths was a missed opportunity since the shooting happened they would have been each other support system and really had each other's back. That would have definitely squashed any beef since both men were impacted by the shooting and needed each other as well.

Yeah well Sean wasn't impacted by the shooting because he didn't know that Jimmy got shot. Because all Sean did was trying to get the gun away from Rick after Jimmy got shot. But Sean did all of us a favor by getting rid of Rick forever even though it wasn't intentional anyways. Yeah it was just the luck of the draw.

Honestly Jimmy had this coming, I remember when he and Spinner did a little fight as well, (truth be told I think Spinner was a bully at the time and definitely lost some weight) But if Spinner was a little heavier he probably could’ve handled him like Sean did.

If Sean had appeared on season 7's episode Bust a Move, it would had been the first time him and Jimmy interacted in a long time. Sean would had grown closer to Jimmy and Spinner. It would had been him, Jimmy, Spinner, and Jay that got arrested. Jimmy would had helped Sean get back with Emma just like how he helped Jay make things right with Manny

I wish that Sean had in Bust A Move in season 7. I always wished that Jimmy and Sean grew closer since they made peace in season 3 Take On Me so how or why they didn't cross paths I will never understand. I agree that it would have been really cool to see Jimmy and Sean grow close and Spinner would have been the middle man to make it happen and I think Jay would also help make it happen. The four of them Jimmy, Spinner, Sean, and Jay would have been inseparable. It's a shame it didn't happen.

@@user-ks8kn4hx8q I could have definitely seen that happen. I believe that surviving the school shooting really did change Jimmy and Sean's lives forever all because of Rick. I really think that despite making peace in season 3, season 4 would have put their new found respect to the test and see Sean and Jimmy become friends and to also be there for one another and help each other get past the shooting. It was a missed opportunity and a huge what if that will forever be a mystery.

Guess I'll never know what it is that caused Jimmy to go after Sean like that. But the one thing these two have experienced is the shooting: Jimmy being shot and Sean accidentally killing Rick. Definitely a traumatic experience for both of them.
