I really appreciate this video. As a hornets fan, 90% of the vids from non hornets media (sometimes even from hornets media) is either just doom and gloom or making fun of the franchise without actually looking at what they are doing. Thank you for actually objectively looking at the team. Just some info for non Hornets fans checking this video out. - Salaun isn’t getting anywhere near the starting lineup at the beginning of the season. He’ll be lucky to get NBA minutes to start the season. - LaMelo, Brandon Miller, Miles Bridges, and Mark Williams only started 2 games together last season. Our core 4 guys were only healthy for 2 games together last season! We went 2-0 in those games btw with a great win against the Celtics. - I don’t know the exact stat but I’m pretty sure we’ve been the 2nd most injured team over the last 2 seasons. We’re not a bad team. I think saying play in is honestly an understatement. MASON PLUMLEE was the starting center the last time LaMelo was healthy and we got to 43 wins that season. Add Mark Williams and Brandon Miller to that equation on top of a great front office and coaching staff now. Playoffs shouldn’t be a surprise tbh

You didn't mention tre mann, he averaged 12, 4, 4 off the bench last year! Very underrated piece. Everything sounded very accurate and good. Things I'd say is mark could be a legit post scorer, hornets could easily be 10th/9th seed if healthy because of the other teams getting worse in that position. Very excited!

You can't build a core with Ball who can't play a full season. You can't build a core with Miles Bridges (charges dropped) who is of poor character and makes dumb decisions. Now, who is there to mention after that? Who on the team makes anyone feel that they are on the rise? Charlotte is stuck with a violent/cough syrup drinking (he even posted it on social media) dude and a guy named LaMelo who played 22 games last year, and 36 the year before. Charlotte has been so bad for so long that they'll hold on to whatever they can, and this includes miles Bridges. Charlotte has no chance of ever getting a top free agent, they can't trade for them because no one wants to join that awful culture. They are giving Miles 25mil a year! Charlotte Hornets fans should be depressed. On the rise? Yikes.
