I think some of the poor optics on the band came from his goofier antics when he was younger. I seen these cat's at bogarts in Cincinnati. At that point in time, I was only there because my brother is such a huge fan. But I have to say, even though it's not my style of metal, after seeing them live, I left the show with a new found respect for deat metal. After the show was over, everyone went out the exit, but my bro decided to sneak through the back, and out the door where them and their tour bus was, so I just walked right up beside Benton and just struk up a conversation. I've gotten to meet a few celebrities within the world of metal, but let me tell you, I am positive that these fellers were some of the nicest dudes I ever met! Dude is a big damn guy to! He is at least 6' 5" and well over 200 pounds. I had to look up, to talk to him the whole time. Very good times!
