“Those that can’t, teach. Those that can’t teach, teach gym.” I think that’s the expression. It’s why I think Deion wouldn’t necessarily be a great NFL head coach. He was a great player with crazy-level skills and I think he won Super Bowls with two teams perhaps. But I just can’t envision Deion coaching the pro level as he can pull carnival barker stuff as a college coach but the tent might cave in for him in the NFL. In other words, NFL players may not tolerate his behavior. We might get to find out if I’m right.

If I’m Jerry Jones I want Ben Johnson. I think you guys said there was noise about Ben and Vegas but going to Las Vegas is career suicide. I don’t like the fact that Jones is owner AND GM and he should hire a full time GM. But at least Dallas has shown they can win in the regular season so there might be more to work with in Dallas than Vegas. So if I’m Ben Johnson I might think Dallas would be a “safe” team to start as a head coach as well. Ben at least wouldn’t be fired his first year most likely and could turn things around there.
