My oldest is a minister, counselor and he coaches basketball, 2nd does medical billing, 3 electrician, 4th owner of his trucking company. My 2 grandsons, 7 and 10, plays football now. The thing about Deion unlike the snakes like Saban and others, Deion isn't going to BS these kids and he made a statement that roughly 5% of kids who play for school have a legitimate shot at an NFL career so one of his jobs he said is preparing kids for life making sure they graduate and land jobs etc once their playing careers end and most coaches don't care about these kids once their eligibility ends. There's literally thousands of Black kids walking in Black communities who played basketball and football in college who left with no pro careers and no degree and they are dumped back into the communities they come from while these coaches continue to rake in millions of dollars and they do not offer any help to these kids once they leave school. I don't think Deion is that kind of dude because unlike some coaches, he has lived it.

HBCU’s used to have the top athletes because PWI wouldn’t let black people attend. They started throwing money at the PWI programs for recruiting (by the same folks who wouldn’t let black people attend until they realized they needed to exploit their talent) and the athletes left in droves. Amazing? It's the flagship university of the state. Why would the program not have money invested into infrastructure? The institution was awful at hiring successful head football coaches after their national title coach in the 90s. I watched that title game as a teenager.
