They were 1-11 with 10 double digit losses. No way they were making it to the next season. Licoln Riley went into USC and basically did the same thing. The main difference was that USC had talent to work with but Riley still clipped a whole lot of players. Matt Rhule flipped 62 at Nebraska and no one said jack.

Rhule told guys to look in the portal if they want but they are welcome back if they want to be a Husker. He didnt tell people to leave. He has specifically said he doesn't want to build through the portal. What he didnt say is "We comin'." and " we are going to dominate and win titles"

I had a boss once that came in and said we are gonna break sales records 10x in 1 year. We knew that was not possible but by year 3, we did. We sold more in 3 years than that orginization sold in 30 years. We'll see with Prime but he's moving the needle forward. Plus, football is just entertainment and he entertains. Plain and simple. Football is just something to watch on Saturdays and he got more eyeballs on his program than the last 4 coaches combined. He's done his job.
