This is a foolish conversation. The woman is single according to the law she’s not married to him. She has no obligation to him. If you wanted this woman to potentially have more obligation more reason to name a child after you then you should’ve been smart and married her, but we want to have our cake and eat it too. You had sex with the woman you had a child out of wedlock guess what that woman doesn’t have to have anything to do with you. She can name that child whatever she wants she can put you out of the delivery room. She can literally say I don’t want him in the hospital. I studied abroad in Latin America and everyone in that region of the world has 2 last names, so it’s not a new or unknown concept outside of the US. For school documentation we all had to use our one last name twice, which became a running joke that everyone’s parents were cousins because you had the same name for both surnames. 🤣😊
