Hey Justin, since the D3 doesnt have an intensity knob built onto it, how were you able to record audio right up against the amp without having it clip? was the amp volume set really low?

Thanks for the review! I am in the market for a shotgun microphone and recently came across Deity. So there is the D3 and the D3 Pro. The D3 Pro is too "rich for my blood" at $200 but the basic version seems in the ball park. Like that you admitted you are not a sound expert since many KZbin creators come across as experts when they are not. Thanks much!

So for this I had the D3 plugged into a sennheiser wireless pack and then I plugged that into a zoom h4n recorder. Hope this helps!
