I bought the deity kit when it first came out and I am not sure if I like the sound quality of it. I am new to all these gadgets so perhaps you can do a short video on how to set it up properly or adjust to maximize its quality?

How does the sound of the Deity’s transmitter mic compare to the sound on the included lav mic? Do you prefer one over the other?

I'd say it depends on the setting and mic placement. I'd personally use another, better clip on mic if I choose to go with a lav (most kit lavs sound about the same)... and then use the built in mic when I just need convenience or speed. I rarely use any of these kits with the included lav, I think it's just more of a bonus/emergency backup in case you need something more "hideable" but don't already have one.

Got me at -12db the wireless rode smaller, longer battery just isn't compatible with Panasonic cameras as the input are way too loud for most popular mics smh

It's been almost exactly the same with any design like this in my experience (10-15m with your body blocking it), so it does as well as I'd expect at least.
