I expected nothing less from the J-Settes. They ate the girls as expected! Laneia is everything I need and more 😩 However, the dolls surprised me. In my opinion, this is the best they’ve looked all season. All of them seem to have a newfound energy. I’m here for it.

Jsettes had nothing to prove as they already drugged the dolls this season. At this point, jsettes shouldnt have showed up. Dolls is just not it. They have great technique, just boring and lack creativity in the stand. I like the sexy femmeine vibes but give me more than box squares. Dolls would be a great attribute to the marching 100. Just plan boring 🤦.

Nobody can say famu sounds bad bcuz they don't but they are boring and monotone at best. They don't take risk or step outside of the box. I view the dolls the same way, they look great, dance great but no wow factor, excitement and they don't step outside of the box. The dolls excell on the field but not so in the stand. But being so pressed that you can't even handle seeing other people disagree and give those girls their flowers is corny. I'd really recommend doing some inner work to figure out why you need the rest of us to be haters like y'all are. As far as I'm concerned, while I definitely think this has been the J-Settes' year, I don't think either got cleared in this battle...both the Dolls and J-Settes brought it and I thoroughly enjoyed what they gave us from start to finish.

The winner based on the band’s sound and dancers: easily SBOTS and j settes. From selections to cohesive and cleanliness! Neia’s creativity, attention to detail and discipline wins by its self: ending with the songs, sit downs on point, all the mirror counts to “Bobby Valentino” and the imagery of that formation 🔥, new Crowley count. As a trained dancer, I respect the technique and style of the Dolls, but name three new dynamics they incorporated here. The Settes gave you several 🤷🏽‍♂️

I really think the Jaysettes and the Dolls should ever battle because they are 2 different styles. I am always bored with the doll’s style. Reminds me of vaudeville. I prefer the Jaysettes. They dance all the way their whole body and give interesting formations. If I want to see the rockets, I will just go to Radio City Music Hall.

Both Jsettes & Dolls did well, top-tier dance lines. However, it’s evident from these 1-on-1 BOTB-ish events, and 0 & 5th quarters, their styles, tempo, & delivery are not comparable. People who enjoy the Jsettes style, may be more prone to enjoy Motion; same concept with the Dolls. I think that’s why these 2 fan bases clash a lot. Yes, throw shade and stand on bidness when it comes to your fave team, but chill out on the nastiness. Now let me add my touch of shade. I know who yall THOUGHT I was going to list as a comparison to the Jsette style…But no ma’am!

Listen I love love love the Dolls, they were great but they had a couple of “snooze” moments. For example, I could have done without that round of the praise song counts - with all of the really old counts. Overall Kyre had so much fun, The girls looked good and they had some super strong moments. As for the J-Settes, I liked the way they looked as a unit on altogethers , there were a few obvious mess ups but i could have looked at that captain all day. She is incredible. The energy she has - my god. I think Morgan’s tally was right, the Jsettes had the edge by 2 rounds.
