Don’t forget time of possession: Ravens 23:38 and Steelers 36:22. We kept Ravens on the sideline and rested our defense. This was our strategy including creating turnovers.

The LB additions over the last year or 2 have been a very underrated part of this defenses success. Not to mention the most underrated 1 for 1 deal this off-season that solidified the CB2 😏

Key to the 2 point defense was actually Herbig. The Ravens were pulling 2 linemen to the left side on the play but faked a hand off to the right of the offense. This fake started the Steeler backfield to the fake side, essentially leaving Porter as the only one on the edge. Herbig busted through from the right side of the defense, pushed his blocker back AND disrupted the 2 pullers AND caused Jackson to alter his path. If he hadn't done that you have Jackson being led by 2 pulling linemen with only Porter with a realistic chance for a tackle. Instead Jackson is slowed down by Herbig's disruption and Porter has a clean shot at Mr. Jackson

Good morning DK ! Wow what a win! Another great TEAM win. This team refuses to quit, yes they have lapses, they are human, and the other teams are good too, but they shake it off and find a way. I know TJ has never won a PO game , you've been over that , but has he even been in a home PO game. Has anyone on this team other than Cam maybe had that opportunity? I hope everything acknowledged in the J1Q ends up really making a difference. I'd hate for it to just mostly be smoke. Russ has moved the ball well overall, but it feels harder in the redzone. Fields often times seemed to struggle to keep the momentum going at times but if the down ended in "goal" you felt good about it chances of scoring. Hopefully they can get the best of both worlds out of these guys, they seem willing to share in the glory.

Our defense coming through without Highsmith was certainly impressive. But they’re deeper now than what they’ve been in many years now. And they really came together as a complete unit in a pivotal game. Meanwhile, KCs defense was exploited, showing vulnerability against Buffalo.

Nannnn. I think it’s important to realize no team is going to lay down because of stats. Kyle Hamilton was a beast yesterday and so was Roquan Smith until he got hurt. It wasn’t until he went down is when we started attacking the middle a lot more. A win is win. It doesn’t matter how is it comes. We aren’t perfect, but we our what our record indicates. Our record indicates that we’re good team for the most part so I’m OK with getting the win without targeting the middle. Ravens were going to be on their ps and qs bro. The biggest Takeaway from me is there certain teams that matches up with teams really well. Right now the Steelers have the ravens number.
