I was really surprised by the Preston Smith move at first but once you think about it, it makes all the sense in the world. There’s no way TJ lasts the whole season at his current snap counts, he’s gonna go down with something. Highsmith and Herbig have already been out with injury. It’s insurance if someone does get hurt, but also will let TJ / Highsmith have a more reasonable load to keep fresh down the stretch and reduce risk of injury.

100% agree on the Fields package nonsense. 1. It would signal your intentions to the defense. Like gee I wonder if he's gonna tuck it and run? Either that or a bootleg or a read option or something. Running's the only thing he does better than Russ. 2. Why would you wanna risk getting your backup QB hurt doing stupid meme shit? You realize what a backup is for right? Seriously it makes no sense at all. It would honestly make more sense to give him snaps at RB if you really want him on the field that bad. Could make up some wacky trick plays at least. Tbh that makes sense but also tbh fields runs a lot and is gonna be injury prone due to that fact so he better learn to distribute the ball in the air more than he was doing. Russ can teach him only so much. When his time comes around again we need to see him pass too. More than he did before. It was look matt canda-ish again with the low ass scores.

Rodgers seems like the kind of guy who most wouldn't be able to please, and everything wrong, in his mind, is due to others, not him. Everyone around him mustake adjustments to his method. The thing is...when you good at go balls or whatever like they say Mike Williams is, you would think the method isn't as important. Just getting the ball to a location where they can go up and get it is all it takes. That's what Pickens means by always fn open. He truly is cause 70% he catches ball, just gotta target him. Williams same. Finess route running is more D Adams and Rodgers thing. Don't worry.These two receivers are perfect for the Steelers. Russ knows how to use them better than a QB like Rodgers.

Deke, you definitely want Fields to see the field! They need to put him at RB and give him a run pass option in certain situations. Very tough to defend. You could also throw him some short passes in space. You must be unfamiliar with the Steelers 1995 season. They went to the Super Bowl and should have won it with O'Donnell QB1 and Kordell Stewart (slash). O'Donnell tanked unfortunately. Russell Wilson and Justin Fields are a MUCH better version of that duo.
