serious question - why don't people just admit that deck based matchmaking is real in this game? switch off your doom2099 deck and see how many you go against. yeah, not many. then switch back to it and play nothing but other doom2099 decks. it's so obvious it hurts.

Been playing Ongoing because I just recently bought a Wave variant from the Snap Shop (I didn’t have Wave before) so now I can do Onslaught Mystique early, but got rolled by a bunch of Doom 2099 players with super scrull. Anyway, I then switched to playing a super ramp->big card focused deck with 2099 (although I do not have Super Scrull). So it allows things like Psylocke 2099 Shuri Red skull Taskmaster (and then Abs man if someone Magiked).

@ is war machine not that great? I’m cl 6k, missing other big cards like Wiccan and Nico etc. I do have legion that goes in some war machine decks. I’ll save the tokens if it’s not worth it, I do have him pinned in my shop though

@@meeee32156Warmachine is a great card, but you’re obviously not gonna use him in a TON of stuff. He is good in the decks that play him though. Limited, if you REALLY wanna play lockdown/control decks i say go for it.

I love Doom 2099 that is why he is doomed to get nerfed. Every card I love gets hit by nerfs Silver Surfer then Wiccan and next Doom 2099. They are going to stop it working with original Doom that is the only nerf that could hurt Doom 2099 big time.

Which is insane considered that, thats the only card he has true synergy with. You need as much free board space as possible and can only play one card already. I think he's fine. You can't even pick where they land and if they hit one with red guardian, it nerfs the rest.

+3 Surfer was cancer, and it stayed a good and relevant card after the nerf. Dont act like it’s such a bad change to the card. Wiccan hasn’t been nerfed lol why mention it. Jury’s still mixed for Doom 2099. You’re crying over nothing lol

@kent_s my Wiccan deck got nerfed from the Storm nerf. I did find a way to still play Storm on 3 but the consistency of hitting it isn't as good as it was as a natural 3 cost.
